Barry Bonds v.s. Jeff Kent

By now I'm sure most of the sports fans of this forum have seen Barry Bonds and Jeff Kent's stupid "fight" in the dugout on Tuesday. First of all, they both need to grow up. Second, if they cannot settle their problems, I see Mr. Kent getting the boot before long, whether it's in a trade, or if he's released after the season. Bonds may be generally considered to be a d*ck, but he's the most popular player in the majors right now, and he's too important to the team to keep a situation that could hurt his production.

Just my opinion.

Yes, I watched the game and saw it. I never have been a Kent fan, but whatever works for the Giants...anyhow, I just watched an interview with Dusty Baker and he won't comment on it (BTW...I live next to Frisco) but another report had a person claim they overheard Kent saying he wanted off the team and didn't like his role in the lineup. Anyhoo...Go Giants...they won in 12 today!

hmmm...

I would imagine that if the Giants got rid of all the players who dislike or don't get along with Bonds, they would be left with only one guy. Bonds is surely one of the best players the sport has seen over the last decade or so, but I sometimes wonder how much his negatives hurt the team. It is a team sport, afterall. The Giants, in the tight race they are in, need Jeff Kent in the line-up, as well.

The more disharmony on the hated jints, the better. And why is it that, for their last two managers, the hated jints have hired Roger Craig and Dusty Baker, both former Dodgers? I guess that their own franchise doesn't have anybody smart enough to manage.

Have you guessed that I root for the Dodgers?
