The New York Mets and Atlanta Braves began an important three game series in Atlanta last night. The game was won by the Braves 5-1, which of course made me very happy

As those who follow are aware, there is a hurricane in the Southern US.
Said Hurricane, Hurricane Helene, is currently affecting Atlanta, which caused tonight and tomorrow night's games between the Mets and Braves to be rained out.
A makeup doubleheader has been scheduled for 1 pm on Monday in Atlanta.
The only way that said games would not be played, is if the Braves lose all three games this weekend to the Royals.
Many fans hold Major League Baseball at fault. The forecast was predicted several days in advance. Both the Mets and Braves had off days on Monday.
They could have played one game on Monday night, and a doubleheader yesterday, to have gotten the games over with, and the Mets out of Atlanta before the storm hit.
Hopefully, Monday will be a wild day for me, with the Mets and Braves playing games to settle who goes to the playoffs, and who stays home
