Bassist Jack Bruce dead at 71

Jack Bruce from the Legendary band Cream died Saturday at 71.
R.I.P.

One of my most carefully-listened-to groups,.............. whew,....... RIP, Jack.

A true icon of 60's "psychedelic rock"!!! He also went on to other groups such as West, Bruce & Laing and in later years teamed up as one of "Ringo's All Stars" guest performers. There is also a little known fact that I just learned about, recently..he recorded an album with the legendary Robin Trower and Bill Lordan (of The Robin Trower Band)..called B.L.T. (Bruce, Lordan, Trower)!!!

Anyway...R.I.P. to a true rock & roll LEGEND!!!

Another rock legend gone. And, unfortunately, so many others are getting up there in age too... Anyway, RIP Jack, and rock away with that great band up there.

Did you know that he jammed with Frank Zappa on the album Apostrophe on the title track? He also put out a jazz album called Things We Like. His early solo albums like Songs For A Tailor and Harmony Row as well as his work with the Graham Bond Organisation are forgotten classics!

RIP, Jack. You made my life that much better with your music.
