this thread is quite a read. i was living in a vanilla world with a chocolate soul. now, i have entered this realm with open arms and i appreciate all the diversity, humor and bonding among fellow ticklers 🙂 can be quite an intellectual lot! a preference is just that and perception of that becomes the reality for some. if you don't like the reality state so much without throwing fireballs. to each is own i say! bastinado, why not? try it once and if not your thing....say' "no thank you, been there done that" but never....in good fun and fetish, make it sound bad. some opinions should be kept to one's self.

I have no interest in jumping into the middle of a cat fight. However, I would like to say that although bastinado interests me from what I have read, it is best to only play with someone that has experience performing it. From what I have read, done right, it can amplify the tickling sensation or stand on its own as a torture. Done incorrectly, it can seriously injure the foot. Of course, most of our "adult" play falls into the category where if done wrong people get hurt or killed.

As to MsDivaNYC's comment, I would like to point out that tickling has been used a form of torture for centuries. And, if you look at tickling pictures on the internet there are a lot of pictures of orientals where I don't think the ticklee is consenting.
