Been Out of Action...But Now I'm Back! :)

Hello all you wonderful lees and lers out there! I write my 1st post back after my one month medical hiatus in my wheelchair. Reason why a medical hiatus (and the wheelchair) ? Sadly, it is because I got hit by a drunk driver when his car jumped the curb and ran into me as I was walking down the sidewalk. I suffered a moderate-to-severe concussion, a broken leg, and a few cuts and bruises to my face, neck, arms and the small of my back. The driver's blood alcohol content level I was told was "way above the legal limit to operate a motor vehicle". He's been arrested and is currently awaiting trial and sentencing.

I have calmed down since then and felt I was ready to get back online. Needless to say, the only tickle action I will be getting for the next 6 to 8 months will be online either in the Tickle Fight Thread in the Tickling Discussion Forum or in the chat room. So I guess I'll talk to you all later...

No worries...I'm sure that if you wanted someone to come tickle you, even with the wheelchair as your primary means of mobility (which, if it's a manual chair, I think it's sexy...), someone can sit at your feet and ensure that you have adequate sensation in your bilateral lower extremities...😉

Seriously, recovering from something like this is tough. I wish you the best in your recovery. As for the schmuck who hit you, I hope they shred his license right in front of him as everyone present looks on.

Oddly, I went for a long walk just yesterday, and, since we had a drunk driver kill several pedestrians here recently, the thought it could happen to me crossed my mind. I wish you a speedy and full recovery, Glamazon(and get a kick out of the screen-name you finally settled on, too).

Manual wheelchairs are sexy...people who utilize them as a primary means of mobility typically have strong arms, and even stronger wills...*drools profusely* I don't know why, but I think manual wheelchair users are some of the sexiest around...I don't question my tastes...just embrace them...:wub

As per my willingness to assure adequate sensation to your bilateral lower extremities, yes, I WOULD be willing to aid in any way I can...I am a Physical Therapist...it's my job to tickle you...er, um, I mean test your sensation as you heal to ensure that all dermatomes are intact to light touch...:stickoutlol:drool

the hollywood brother wishes you a speedy recovery. the human body does heal and it learns to live with what it cant heal so you will be okay. you havethe great comunity here for support and you will get stronger as each day passes and you will get to enjoy hollywood brother tickling someday.

I wish you a speedy recovery! My dad was hit by a drunk driver, and was hurt real bad, it broke the seat he was in! So I know what you went thru. Take care!!
