I keep getting logged off. It mostly does this everytime I post something or send a messege. It doesnt do it every time or every day but it happens very frequently. To the point where I havent been coming here out of frustration. This is the only site that does this to me. Thanks for any and all help!

Have you attempted to clear your temporary internet files cache? (including cookies) You may wish to try doing this, closing your browser, restarting your computer, and seeing if that helps at all. I can tell you how to do this if you tell me your browser name and version number. If you are on for one hour and do nothing during that time (no browsing or posting) you may be logged off automatically, although it seems that is not your issue.

Yes I have tryed that. Actually I do that fairly often. I am on *gasp* dial up so dont know if thats maybe a factor. Although I never use to have this problem and I've always had dial-up.

Thanks for the sugestions.

There are two things to check for, then. One, a domain issue. Do you log in at addresses of the form http://www.ticklingforum.com or at addresses of the form http://ticklingforum.com (note the lack of www in the second) You MUST log in using the www form or you may experience an apparent "log out" when trying to do something.

If that is not the case it could be browser-related. What internet browser do you use? I would be useful to download and install an alternative one, preferably one you have never used before. Alternatives include Opera, Mozilla Firefox and Safari.

Dial-up should not be an issue unless you happen to use AOL dialup. AOL makes use of odd rotating proxies that may be messing with the forum cookie information.

I changed it to the www. so I guess I'll have to wait and see if that helps. Thanks for the advice!

Ok its still doing it. It also does it just when I go from one page to another. Must be a browser kinda thing like you said. Im gonna go out on a limb and sound like an idiot but how do I fix that?

You might want to try installing one of the three alternative browsers I linked above. (Safari, Opera and Firefox) Once installed, visit the TMF with it and see if your issue persists.
