Kung Hei Fat Choy! Happy kinda-belated Chinese New Year!! :chinese:
It's the Year of the Horse this time around, according to the Chinese zodiac. Those of you born in the Year of the Horse, extra luck to you all. =P What do you like about horses? They've played such a vital role in the history of the development of mankind, and they've got such strength and stamina!
I've had about three slices of nian gao that a friend brought over to a D&D session this past Saturday, and witnessed a neat lion dance someone put on in Waikiki. Though my family isn't Chinese, it's still fun to celebrate this holiday, at least in Hawaii...though kinda bummed I don't get those red envelopes with the money in them... *envious of those sillies in the attachment*
So I'm curious, do any of you celebrate Chinese New Year, or witness/partake in the customs of this holiday?
