Ok, we had a thread about the tunes we like to get high with...

...so what's the best music to shag by?

I'd have to go with the good '80's power ballads. Probably because I was "at that age" in the early 80's, and every memory I have of the back seat of a crappy car comes along with a few memories of Night Ranger and Styx tunes. Throw in Marillion and you've got one of those "Three-Rubber-Evenings." 😀

For just a straight tickling session, though...I lean toward the more modern hard rock...Zombie, Godsmack, Nickelback...shit like that. But some Celtic stuff's nice on occasion, too.

Anyone else?

(I know, stupid thread...but I'm bored, sue me.🙄 )

Boredom...becoming...contagious...

too!

I once dated a girl who got very turned on by Pink Floyd or Tom petty music, so I am still kinda partial to those.

This question is a lot tougher than Best Stoner Music or Best KISS tune, because the best lovemaking music changes with each girl. Whatever you and your girlfriend used to throw down for the months or years you were together, you're not going throw down with the next girl. Right? Or am I just weird that way?

In high school, it was Pink Floyd, O Positive (local Boston band), and -- you're gonna look at me cross-eyed here -- the last track on the Fright Night soundtrack (a song called "Come to Me").

Then, with my girlfriend through the first half of college, it was Grateful Dead, Grateful Dead, Grateful Dead, Grateful Dead. And CSNY.

The next girlfriend I had, through the second half of college, was with me through those years when Enya was big.

I won't go through all of them here. But I'll mention that when I was with the dungeon girl for a year, Sade REALLY got our groove on.

The soundtracks for Fire Walk With Me and Lost Highway kick stupendous ass, but you have tread carefully cuz both are laced with scary tracks that could pull you immediately out of the mood. You and your ticklee will be groovin to bassy, throbbing Badalamenti for 6 or 7 minutes, and then suddenly a deep, scratchy scary voice starts chanting "Black dog runs at night, black dog runs at night."

Then again, if you're with a goth chick...

Okay, enough of this. I'm going out.

When I'm sitting at my PC, happily scrolling through TMF threads I like to slip in my "Classic Hits Of The 80's" CD's and let it drift me back. I was only 2 years old when the 80's started, but it still makes me feel nostalgic for my youth. I hate to admit this, but my favourite 80'shit of all time, is Manic Monday, by The Bangles. Susannah Hoffs was one seriously hot babe back then wasn't she?

I think it's a good thread idea, Dave!

A variety of songs could fit this description for me depending on the partner I'm with at the moment AND the music doens't fit into the category that I'd normally listen to for enjoyment. Certainly wouldn't want the notes taking center stage now would we? 😀

BUT....the first song that pops into mind is probably the best to list here. It's Lenny Kravitz singing, "You've Got to Let Love Rule." I'm not a LK fan, so that makes this an especially odd choice.lol I think it's just that "pulling" feeling that this song has. A bit of high tempered "hollerin'" and just the smoothness of it.

It has a good beat and it's easy to ....oh nevermind. 😛

Hmmm...lemme see...it's easy to:

1--Rewind and play again?

2--Turn off if things aren't going well?

3--Get lost in the tune and imagine you're trapped in the TMF's story sections?

There's just sooooo many possibilities, isn't there? 😉 Q

Joby, whatever "nevermind" is, I want to be standing by with a video camera when it happens.

Re: Best music to #*$@ to...

I wouldn't know--I've never #*$@ before 🙁

Well, having not had the pleasure of #*$@ing yet, I can't speak from experience, but one song I might use is "Awake" by Godsmack. It rocks!

I'm glad to see I'm not the only  around here! Though I do think :devil:ish thoughts all the time 😀

Let's not forget the Eagles and Led Zep........Stairway to Heaven especially......

The possibilities are simply endless if you have a good beat.

Oh, wait, that isn't what you meant. My bad~!

I have three that come to mind at the moment. My ex girlfriend gave me a strip tease to "swallow" by Korn. Also I've made love to the entire "Little Earthquakes" album by Tori Amos quite a few times (hey I'm not a slut it was only with one woman). Also the "LP2" album by Sunny Day Real Estate works wonders. I guess it would depend on the degree of aggression in the mood.

Swallow? LOL Now there's a suitable title for a sexy song if ever I heard one!

ACtually I prefer NO music when getting intimate...but it did remind of my first real make out session. I was in college (yes , I know, what a fool! lol! I was a virgin until I got married too, but I digress....) And I had just bought Billy Joel's "Turnstiles" on CD. To this day I can't hear "all you want to do is dance" with out thinking of that nice young lady of mine and that one evening in my dorm room...ahhh...memories!

It never surprises me that I'm wit' Boomtown. It varies for me, too. Some folks defy the need for music, too. Some ARE their own music. Some situations REQUIRE it, though. Depends on the lover, and the time in your life, especially when you're a parent.

I always preferred to make mixes, whether tape, CD, or mp3, for such things, though. There's too many musics that appeal to my sexuality. 😉 CD-changers were good, too, 'cause you didn't end up wit' sudden dead air. Double bonus, 'cause you can stick in a soothin' disc for good cuddlin' tunes, and switch t'that when it's appropriate. Triple bonus if you get through the other discs before finishin' the active part and goin' on t'cuddlin'. 😉

I did, and still do, dislike leavin' the radio on, though. Knew a lady into that, and it always squicked me. I don't need distractions, especially from goofy DJs spinnin' goofy tunes, or bustin' into the news. Ew.

VEry niCe tOpiC!

hi-ho,

i'm quite new at this forum (my first remark!) but i canT hold back a statement to "best music to %&"§*".

i very much prefer music (or bands) with changing tempo in one song, for example nine inch nails or tool...

so you can slow down and speed up in between 😀

Welcome! It's always good to see new faces around the forum, and especially when they're here in Europe too! I hope you have a good time here wishiwish and get as much out of your membership as most of the rest of us have.

Easy one this.........

.....the theme music from "The Dam Busters" the tempo, especially from letter K (Maestoso) is just right for slow steady pumping, and then the accelerando in to the coda is just right for the vinegar stroke!!

Me, I like the 1812 Overture. 😀 I know I've already posted an answer, but what the hell?

In that case, if I ever get to #*$@, I'd do it to Wagner's "Ride of the Valkyries"! :blaugh:

You mean the original Wagner version, or the Elmer Fudd version?

Kill da Wa-bbit
