I know feathers are not necessarily the best tickling implements, but I wanted to know what type of feather(s) work particularly well to this end and where you acquire them. Thanks in advance to any and all for any info provided.

Hmm... depends on the area. Small ones from pillows would be used for those little orifices. Stiff ones (i.e. pigeons) would be effective in most parts of the body. The long ones (from turkeys for example) are good for feet, especially in inbetween toes. Depends who well you use feathers. However, I don't know where to acquire feathers. Sorry about that!

I agree with Chimp on all counts. As to where to aquire them, many, ahem, ADULT stores will sell feathers of many types. Also, many online adult stores sell them, however, I never kept the adresses to those places since nothin much in them was very appropriate or interesting.

A feather that is stiff and large.

Also look for one that has a decent point with a sharp end. It's great for reversing and signing your name across a girlie's soles with. 🙂

About feathers

Ok being a bird finantic and raising Pigeons myself, I have found that the Primary feathers( the long ones at the end of the wing) seem to be the best for tickling feet and around toes. But the secondary feathers( shorter ones below the primarys) are great for soft tickling around nipples and other very soft places.Pigeon feathers are great but the Owl feather especially from the Great Horned Owl are the best over all. Yes I know not everyone has a chance to have an owl feather, but if you come accross one save it, you never know!.

Hi NorteDame6,
In response to your question - where to purchase,
I bought mine at a sporting goods shop.
See the fishing tackle section, (in our case fishing "tickle").

Thank you all for the input. I found some at an arts and crafts place called "Michaels". So I'm all set for my fun next weekend.
