Am I seeing/hearing things???

Last night, I saw the Leafs fail to capitalize on error after error made by the Flyers, esp. by their goalie. I know it was only a matter of time b4 the Leafs would score, seeing how Philly was playing, but the game should not have gone beyond the first half of the first overtime period.

Tonight...well, it was beyond disgraceful. The Leafs looked like a bunch of little girls out there trying to ward off big bad men. And yes, Cherry is right by saying that Belfour was left to fend for himself, but to be truthful, he looked as hackneyed, at times, as Chenkenov (or whatever the hell his name is) did last night.

But the topper?? Quinn actually had the gall to suggest that the referees had some part to play in the outcome!! Please...

If you're going to make excuses, at least have the gumption to come up with some new material, rather than resorting to the age-old whine that the refs were bad.

Hey I thought we traded Cujo LOL (The most over rated player in the game.

Anyways it was a disgrace. I'm not a Balfour fan, but the Leafs hung him out to dry. Hell did you see how many times guys came right up to the crease and swatted at his hands? Even two years ago Toronto would have decked anyone who attempted that. Now guys get away with it. Granted the other night they expended a hell of a lot of energy getting back into it. Still some of the stuff Philly got away with... I couldn't imagine them getting that close to the crease in the days of Steve Thomas and Mike Johnson..

Then again, they've always seemed a tad bit intimidated by Leclair.

Eh, don't worry about it, the Flyers are lightweights and will be knocked out sooner or later (sooner, more likely). I was rooting for Toronto, too. I was also rooting for the Avalanche.

i am utterly shocked the Ducks swept the Wings,and the Wild beat the Avs....the world must be ending 😀.

who do you guys think will take Lord Stanleys Cup?

I'm gonna have to go Canadjun on yer ass and say either Ottawa or Vancouver, but I hope it will be the Canucks.

I like Jersey, I always have. The big thing with Jersey is will they actually make it to the cup. If they do I tend to favor them.

i know he`s gone,but i was hoping there was more to it.i can`t wait to see who signs him,most likely the Rangers will .
