Hi All! With "BBT" off, I thought I might start this thread.

What was your most memorable moments from Big Bang?

As for me. My most memorable moments usely involved my favorite character, Penny.

Like the time Sheldon said something about physics being the most fun you could have. Penny turned to Leonard and says "and you thought it was soaping me up in the shower"

Or, the time Penny and Rodje accidentally slept together.

I did like the Penny character, however, I thought she was funnier in earlier seasons.

I, for one, was pulling for a "Young Penny" spin off. Get to actually see all of her, I forget what it was Sheldon called her childhood stories.

P.S. I have been looking for some good post "BBT" fiction. Anyone have any ideas? I have tried Fanfiction.net, unless I missed someone.

My favorite episode was Season 4, Episode 3, The Zazzy Substitution. In that episode, Sheldon talks about being disgusted by the sight of Penny using a pumice stone on her bare soles in plain view in the living room and later there is a scene of her doing just that, with Howard criticizing and correcting her technique.

Oh, yeah. I had totally forgotten about that. Don't see that part much in the TBS reruns unfortunately. Thanks for the reminder MIla!

My favorite episode (it is hard to choose just one) is Season 3, episode 8, The Adhesive Duck Deficiency. Sheldon ends up driving Penny to the ER after a spill in the shower due to no slip-resistance (hence the show's title).

But the greatest part of this episode, is Howard, Raj and Leonard are waiting for the Leonid Meteor Shower and end up getting stoned thanks to some cookies from some "hippie grandmas". The results are hilarious.

One of the consequences of this episode also shows up on another one of my favorites- The Excelsior Acquisition. In this one, Sheldon has a court summons because he gets caught by a traffic camera while driving Penny to the ER in the above mentioned episode. Due to his stubbornness (he doesn't want to pay the fine) his court date is the same day that Stan Lee is signing autographs at the comic book store. Sheldon ends up missing the autograph session so Penny makes it up to him by taking him to Stan Lee's house to meet him, which ends in another Sheldonesque situation.

My favorite episodes were

S02x07: The Panty Piñata Polarization. Sheldon banishes Penny from the apartment, and they get into this back and forth feud.

S06x09: The Parking Spot Escalation. Howard is given Sheldons parking spot at their job, and despite not having a car, Sheldon doesn't want to give it up. And the arguing expands to Sheldon and Howards girlfriends.

S06xE13: The Bakersfield Expedition. The guys go off to comic-con but run into trouble on the way. While the girls back home read comic books and got super into them. Just like the guys.

There were many great episodes, but these three were my most favorite.

Who else was glad that the elevator finally got fixed? That was seriously the biggest thing I wanted to see happen before the show ended.

S2.E7 oh yeah. That was a classic. I can still hear Penny telling the guys "I can hog-tie and castrate him in 60 seconds" .

S6.E9 This is one of my favorite moments that didn't involve Penny. I almost hit the floor laughing when Howard did his "Naked Revenge Wiggle"

S6.E13 I have to say, while this one was funny, Penny didn't make a good case for streetsmarts.

Last night, I remembered, probably my best moment of BBT. It was in the "Misses Layfield" ep. When Leonard come back to the apartment the morning after seeing her.

Sheldon ask Penny if that was a good sign, and Penny was like "Oh Yeah". The look on Penny's face was priceless.

My sister was saying the same thing about Raj. And, the whole "Penny's maiden name" thing always bugged me.

I think that's just Keley Cooco (or however you spell her name) way, I mean, her character, Billie, in Charmed never gave a last name either (or, not as far as I can remember)

I was a big fan of the show but only a two scenes do I remember. It was when Sheldon and the others were playing a game and Sheldon ends up getting kissed by the girls. I also remember when Raj started talking to women and once he started, it was like he couldn't shut up.

Yeah. S3.E8 was a good one. I really liked the part were Sheldon has to dress Penny and accidentally grabs her *guessing* boob. And, also when Sheldon is filling out the paperwork @ the ER, Penny's "rage".

"is that my arm?" Penny asks, "No" Sheldon replies, Penny then says "maybe you should let it go".

But the scene at the hospital was classic: Sheldon starts filling out the paperwork for Penny: describe the nature of the problem "tattoo of soup on buttocks"- As he fills that out Penny yells at him "induced rage" he continues, to which Penny yells an obscenity and Sheldon writes "with bouts of Tourette's Syndrome". And with the rest of the gang in a marijuana induced daze, lamenting their problems, this episode is probably my favorite of the entire series.

Also one of my favorites:
Season 3, Episode 22 "The Staircase Implementation"

The episode opens with a close-up sole shot of Penny's bare feet as she give herself a pedicure. Most of the episode consists of flashbacks as Leonard tells her how he met Sheldon and how the elevator got broken. In between the flashbacks, the scenes become Leonard giving her the rest of the pedicure.
