I must say I am a bit perplexed. . . It seems like a bad joke: when I get to see the post, the file is gone - deleted because it was copyrighted or something.
I don't want to sound ungrateful - but I really wonder: what is the meaning of it? Rocking seems capable of posting a hundred megs worth of files around the clock.
Posting fewer of them - and making sure they are "legit" beforehand, would really help lessen the frustration factor.
. . . But now I'm really wondering: how much does it cost to keep up a site like that?
Is it possible that bandwidth comes actually cheaper [or more readily available] than Magic collectible cards?
Usually, Rocking keeps his files up for quite a while, at least a week or so. I mean, there could be a debate over the length of time he leaves them up, but I personally find his timing more than fair. As for the deletion of files issue, the whole point of all these arguments is that Rocking in fact DOESN'T knowingly post copyrighted clips. Yes, occasionally there are glitches that take a few days to fix, but, in general, he delivers what he advertises, and does so without ruffling any feathers.
In response to the badnwidth issue, I have yet to find bandwith in the realm of what I suspect Rocking uses per month (because, as TIB pointed out, a LOT of people download from Rocking) that is cheaper than sending a box or two of Magic cards down to him. If I could find some, I'd jump at the opportunity to put my own site up instead of talking about it so much without action. This is one thing I figure we should give Rocking the benefit of the doubt on. However, if you can prove me wrong by finding cheap bandwith, by all means, send the info along to me.

As for TIB's comment . . . Well, I was withholding comment on it because I saw both sides of the argument; were I TIB, I wouldn't want my copyrighted material downloaded for free even accidentally. Personally, I agree with what I presume was the intention of mtickle's post: The phrasing of the statement seemed a little harsh given the situation. Maybe it would have been better to say, "Hey, we know it was an accident, and thanks for taking it down when you found out. So you know, here's a list of the websites that are all part of TC Video . . . Can you try really hard to not have it happen again? Thanks." Of course, I'm not the producer here, so I may be able to be more diplomatic
