BIG problem with WMV.

I just tried to download a clip in the clips section. I got the video and sound but no color. It showed up like a negative.
Now, I downloaded new drivers for my ATI card on friday, but this is the first time that this has happened. It has also done this to a few of my other, older clips that had been saved in the past, but not all of them.

Could somebody help if you can?

If your older clips are also being affected, it is most likely the fault of the new driver. I recommend that you use Device Manager to "roll back" the video driver to the previous version and see if the problem disappears.

Alternatively, you could try reinstalling Windows Media Player (Or upgrading, if you use version 9 or below.). Uninstalling it is possible through the Add/Remove Programs application in the Control Panel and it can be reinstalled by going to www.microsoft.com and downloading it (Or going to Windows/Microsoft update and installing it through that system.).

Everytime I've ever had a prob with WMP I've always just re-installed it, and, eh, problem solved...!!! 🙂

Thanks. I just downloaded version 10 and now everything works like a charm.

Yeesh. I really have to pay attention to the fact that with newer video cards come the need for newer downloads. I was so used to my crappy GeForce2 mx card that I forgot to upgrade the drivers and new versions of all my media tools to fit my new card which is also done by a different company, so I also have to think outside the box.
