I know the discussion of african americans and tickling comes up on this forum every once and a while, but I thought id bring it up again. I was wondering if there were any more of them out there on the forums. Id like to hear from you all. maybe we could form a gathering or just become good friends.(espically the ladies 😀 ) but seriously. where are u all?

no offense to anyone else. I just would really like to see ticklers and lees of color a little more often

I've got no idea, Static. Judging just by the pictures I have seen here and with the people I've IMed with there does seem to be a distinct lack of black people or any other minorities for that matter. I dont know if (for whatever reason) they are simply less likely to post a picture or if there is really that few out there. Very odd indeed and something I have wondered about myself.

I'm black and I'm proud. no seriously.....ask Nessie. But I give my pic to very few people. But yes I am black. I consider myself a TRUE rare gem.I dont think that all the time, but hey I am. I'm black, educated ( well working on it) talented, and TICKLISH!!! And I LOVE IT!(apparently!)

Hmm... I know I've met at least 2 black women and 2 black men at a gathering I went to years ago. I went there with my friend who is also black. I don't know what I am, but I'm certainly not white. I think they're out there, maybe just not as vocal about it.

I have been around for a long time but this is the first time I have ever posted. I love tickling women playfully and always work it into the foreplay. I have never experienced tying anyone up and tickling, but maybe one day. Plenty of us out and about. Most of us aren't aware of tickling forums. Many of us who are can find them fairly annoying at times (myself included) and there are several reasons for that. Just keeping it limited to forums and other groups I've viewed, let's face it. An annoying thing for me is that every other thread (not that severe but it seems like it) usually involves some form of which celebrity is hot and they'd like to see be tickled blah blah. Half are white women I have no interest in and the other half are German models who.....I have even less interest in. Then when racial or ethnically underrepresented groups are mentioned, the terminology gets annoying to me after a while. I can make the claim that a total ignorance factor has caused me to leave boards before and limit my posting otherwise.
Basically, it's simply my opinion that net forums aren't the most comfortable of places for many non-white posters (from many people I talk with). But, I ONLY speak for me. I do my fair share sometimes and other times I get rather fed up with many things related to race and ethnicity on forums and stop.
Believe it or not, I've had a LOT more success contacting and finding other African American ticklers and ticklees to converse with OUTSIDE of forums. But let's be honest too. There are 50x's more white lurkers who never post a thing than there are ethnic minorities who don't. Tickling still is a taboo thing and maybe many see posters as an exclusive type of group who participates in tickling on a level that they might not. *shrug*
And like MistressValerie and others do, I rarely make that background known on forums unless asked or feel the need to. You'd be surprised (especially if you're male) how you will be very much ignored after that info is released. YES, that is VERY true and unfortunate. :up_arrow: But, again, I think that has less effect on female posters because there are more guys than gals on these things.

Usually if someone starts to ask what I look like, etc...the first thing I tell them is "I am not white. Don't ask me what I am because I don't know." This happens as much with people who are seeking a specific type as it does with those who are not.

The subjects of race and ethnicity on a forum are always a somewhat off putting, but I respond to a thread like this because there might be someone lurking who feels that they're a round peg in a world of square holes. If my being open about the fact that I am not white helps someone else feel more comfortable in this often ridiculous world, it's the least I can do.

I hope I didnt offend you or VA in any way by starting this thread Rai, I was just courious about the people around the forums. If I did offend you 2 or anyone else, I apologise. I understand how the both of you feel, which is probably why I posted this thread in the beginning. I wanted to find others like me and in turn, share with them, and maybe even meet them.

Nah, not offended by this thread at all. Always a good thing when people CAN feel more connected. I'd never want to polarize racial/ethnic issues (after all, there really is no biological basis at all for "race". It's a myth). But I'll say this. Whatever stigma that some whites might feel about this fetish goes DOUBLE or TRIPLE for non-whites, generally. Stigmas tend to carry much more of a negative response from other members within your group than they might otherwise. I often laugh very hard at threads where people talk about how to talk openly to their sig other or a person they are dating about tickling as a fetish. Being open about that WITHIN your group means you're either extremely popular or you have titanium nutz. Again it's definitely easier for the ladies than it is for the guys because guys will work with girls with fetishes any day whereas guys who love tickling are almost outcast across the board.
But there's also a very big disconnect between people like me and most here. Half the threads dealing with mass media, I simply can't identify with (see German model example from page 2). And I'm sure most people on forums would have to google up Sanaa Lathan in my signature to have a clue who she is. Hope no one gets put off by this but I'll say it anyway. Talking about tickling, ESPECIALLY in written form, REALLY sounds corny (definitely when you step away from it and view it through eyes of people not into it). We're used to it....but really it sounds corny a LOT! 🙂 If there's one thing that would quickly put off MY peers, it'd be writing to them about tickling and trying NOT to sound either exceptionally white, OR very corny. That's a hurdle to get over sometimes when I'm converting or explaining it to people on line but *shrug* that's the nature of this fetish I guess. But yet it's another reason that I'm always stressing that I'd never EEEEEEVER recommend that a new person (at least of my ethnicity) visit forums UNTIL they are well inundated into what tickling is all about. Coming to one of these things new like that would be a culture shock on much much more than one level.
Just for the record, I'm always very much put off when the term "Black chic" is said. Just my feeling on it tho.
