In the interest of not so PC Christmas songs,

I was wondering if anyone here has ever heard Bob River's "Twisted Christmas" classics such as ,"Frosty the Pervert", "Yellow Snow, yellow snow, yellow snow"( hilarious for all those dog owners in the house! LOL) and the ever-popular "Walking Around in Women's Underwear" . I downloaded those 3 from WinMX and couldn't stop laughing! :blaugh: I had heard them before( hubby's friend owns the CD) but every time you listen to them you're busting a gut laughing!

You can also download the "Women's Underwear" mp3 @ the above link.

I had 2 of Bob River's records at some point, Maggie. "Walking Around in Womens Underware" was hysterical, especially the line "And we pretend he is Murphy Brown". So is "I Am Santa Claus", done to the tune "Iron Man" by Black Sabbath. Also "Jingle Hell's Bell's" done in the style of Bon Scott-era Ac/Dc, and "The Night Before Christmas", done by Jack Nicolson.(well, not really him, lol)
Of coarse it's the same old story, I lend my copies to someone and never got them back, but what are ya gonna do?

Drew😉

Those were great Celticrose2001 !! LOL Nope, I never have heard of Bob Rivers so thanks!

😀 🙂

Wow,

I have been hearing about the "Womans Underwear" song for a couple of years now. Finally hearing it is great!!!

Or who can forget the Doctor Dirty classic "Hark, the Hare-lipped Angels Sing..."

😎

It's not a Bob Rivers parody, but you can't go wrong with Bob and Doug McKenzie's "12 Days of Christmas".

Drew😉

Dave , I've never heard that one before but it sounds hysterical!:blaugh:

How are you, hon?😀
It's so wonderful to see you again-you're so much a presence and a part of these forums that it's not the same without you. Hope everything's going ok. E-mail me when you get a chance so we can chat again.

Drew,
Ah the mainstays of Canadian comedy, eh? 😉 As a friend said to jokingly, "you're not Canadian till you've watched Strange Brew 10 times and can quote every frickin line" .
I esp love the line that goes "On the Forth Day of Christmas my true love gave to me four pounds of back bacon, three French Toast, two turtle necks .. and a beer!" :blaugh:

Thanks for bringing that one up Drew. Have you seen seen Strange Brew?

Maggie

Maggie, Me and a buddy of mine saw "Strange Brew" the weekend it opened in 1983, with MANY cold ones in us! We were already Bob and Doug fans from that "Great White North" album. Even played "The Beer Hunter" with several cans of Miller Lite.

Drew😉

"No, I'M going to brewery, I'm taking YOU to the mental hospital"
"Hey hoser, this chocolate milk is 4 months old"
"I'd kiss you but I got puke breath"
"I'll take 2 bowls of "split plea" soup, your honor"
"I've been with my brother my whole life, now I got 2 soakers and he's not here"

i love their version of the twelve days of christmas...also love jorgy jorgenson's its the first day of deer camp( i think thats the title)...kinda reminds me of monty pythons lumberjack song 😀

I don't want to get away from the subject of this thread, Bob Rivers Christmas songs, a few more of his classics are:
"There's Another Santa Claus"
"I Came Upon a Roadkill Deer"
"Grabyer Balls"(like Micheal Jackson)

BUT...One of the funniest things that I'll never find again showed up on the syndicated heavy metal radio show "Metal Shop" in the 80s. A band called Sharks took Judas Priests "Head Out To the Highway" and replaced the words with "Santa Claus is Coming to Town", and recorded this version. It was absolutly hysterical!
