he writes pure fantasy novels about a character named Drizzt - hence the Nick...

Are you aware that he kicked off the current "New Jedi Order" saga of Star Wars novels with the fabulous "Vector Prime"?

no, i didnt know he had anything to do with star wars saga? cool!

the Forgotten realms books are the ones ive read. the 15 books , starting with the Icewindal trilogy and then the dark elf trilogy etc...

i would really recommend them,... i just got his new one - Sea of swords... really good up to yet!

I started with the Dark Elf Trilogy , then the Icewind Dale, all his misc. stuff as well like "Starless Night" and "Legacy". I also read one of his non TSR books(I think it was "The Demon Awakens"). Last one I read was "Spine of The World". Iv'e been meaning to pick up "Servant of the Shard" for awhile. Is that one any good?

i thought Spine of the world was a bit depressing - servent of the shard is fantastic, he goes back to his ole way of writing, like his best books - crystal shard and halflings gem! very cool.

sea of swords is turning out like that too.

The demonWars books, are a set of 4 -they are supposed to be really good! not sure what order but i think they are called:

Demon apostle
Demon Awakens
Demon Spirit
Mortalis

he also wrote a set of books called cleric quintet - they are supposed to be fantasic -

Canticle
In Sylvan Shadows
Night Masks
The Fallen Fortress
The Choas Curse
