The president has made his speech and his intension are to be carried out. I think we are offcially at war. So much for world support.

President Bush is crazy.
Le Président George Bush est fou .
Präsident George Bush ist verrückt.

English German and French. I don't wanna offend anyone here but I do not support this war at all. Bush in many peoples eyes is crazy. Dipolomacy could have worked and we could have support instead of countries hating us more than they already did. I support our troops and wish them the best and their families but i feel we rushed into this before peace could have been achieved.

Ah The Same...

Diplomacy that hasn't worked for the last 13 years?

Ignorance.... Sigh

A majority do NOT think so......Diplomacy? With a maniac who has ignored the UN and the rest of the world for years..diplomacy? with a
"leader" who kills his own people and sets oil wells on fire and supports terrorism?

I think not..there is only one type of "diplomacy that will work with a man like Saddam.....unfortunately we have no other choice....

The time to debate whether we should go to war or not is over.

We live in a nation that allows us freedom of speech. Wise men have argued that you have not only the right to voice your opinion on moral issues, but a duty to do so. Well the issue has been decided. We are at war. That is a fact. Now, as Americans, we have another duty. We must stand together.

We have a duty to support our country and our countrymen who are fighting overseas. We sent them there, into harms way. Please do not demoralize them by protesting that they are risking their lives for nothing. They need all their courage and will intact, just to come out of their situation alive. Please help them. If you can't say something positive about them and their situation, please don't say anything at all.

If you still need to punish someone for this war, you can show your opinion when you vote in future elections.

Please, for the sake of our brothers and sisters, sons and daughters who are fighting overseas, and their families who wait for them to return... please stand together, united in support of our troops. Please. It's very important. Maybe life or death for some of them.

Agreed 100%. Whether you support Bush or not, we should all pull together to support our troops. Protesting, now that the war has officially started, is akin to trying to move a stubborn mule. All you have done is wasted your time, and annoyed the mule.

So regardless what your opinions are of the President, I ask that you please put aside your personal feelings for him, and support our troops.

Thank you.

I have to disagree. If you believe this war is immoral then it is your right and I would even go so far it is your duty to speak out against it. We do indeed live in a democracy and we should never be coerced into silence. Make your opinions known. Stand up for what you believe. For this is the nature of a democracy and your right under the first amendment. I do ask that you do with respect and integrity. And by the way if you support the war then I believe you have the same right and the same duty.

I don't normally post, but I feel the need to point something out. Contrary to what many of the liberal anti-war protesters may believe, we are not going to find the biggest civilian hospitals, nursing homes, water supplies, and food pantries to bomb. The people who will be the target of this attack will be the military personel who threaten our safety, and the safety of the US troops who are protecting us. Please, support our troops, as they are, as I stated, protecting us.

You must not have been around for Vietnam. Anyone who doesn't realize how bad the protests in America affected the guys fighting over there needs to learn about it. Ask anyone who was over there.

Yea..

If you STILL refuse to support our troops after the war has started, then you truly are anti-American.

I don't like the idea of us being at war any more than the next person. However, this guy is a threat to the world. We failed to take him out 12 years ago. He's done nothing but add to his arsenal and abused his power. He's lied and played games with the arms inspectors. He has no problem torturing and killing innocent people. All diplomatic efforts have failed. The time has come to put an end to it...and to him if possible.

It's a sad day for the world. But, it's also a necessary one. Whether we agree or not with the decision that's been made, let's not dishonor and abuse our soldiers like we did back during Viet Nam. We owe them our support, if not our moral agreement. It's OUR security they fight to preserve.

No, I was not around for Vietnam. My father was and he fought over there. I understand your apprehension, and I believe that any personal attacks against the troops would be ill concieved. I don't believe, however, this means that citizens of the United States should be coerced into silence. The day that citizens can no longer speak for what they believe in is a day this country no longer functions as a democracy, and that seems pretty anti-American to me.

iggy pop there is a difference

once the troops are in country, and the bombs are falling, the time for decent is over. it's time to rally round the flag, and stop with the insults to our leaders, and the troops. when it's all over, then you can support a different candidate come the next election. that's not being untrue to our constitution, that's being a good citizen. all the insults do is give moral courage to the people shooting at out relitives!
