BOO! Halloween anyone?

I was just wondering if anyone was doing anything fun for Halloween?

I'll be taking the kiddo out to a party, so that should be fun. I have a sister in law who's b-day is that day too so there will be celebration as well that night~! She's an identical twin and they dress up to look as different as possible that day! 😛 Cute huh?

I have pals who don't like the whole dark side of Halloween, so they will be taking their kids to church functions as an alternative. More power to them I say. Halloween is about having fun~! Sure there are some kooks who need to make it something nasty, but they can make Easter Bunny evil too, so I ignore them! 😛

It's the world's biggest masquerade party and this chick is going in costume! I haven't settled on the outfit yet. It's either a witch or a devil...and no comments needed from certain ones of you who would say I don't need a costume for either eventuality!

What does Friday night hold for any of you spooky types that are our to have a little fun?

We're going up to see my mom since she has another chemo treatment this week. My brother will be there with his flock all decked out. If we get up there in time and mom's hanging in there, we'll dress up and join the gang for the parade.

Lazarus and I are taking the little one trick or treating for a few hours, then we're gonna get decked out in costume ourselves, and go out to the local nightclubs with some friends for dancing and drinking. Several of them have annual Halloween parties and costume contests, and it's always a lot of fun!

Lazarus is wearing his full wrestling attire out (complete with black leather trench and his World Heavyweight Championship title). I have not COMPLETELY decided yet, but I am leaning toward a little school girl outfit, consisting of white button down oxford, tied at the waist, black pleated mini skirt, black nylons, white cotton sloudh socks layered over the nylons, and black combat boots...all complete with pigtails, freckles, and a giant lollipop.

We had originally planned to do a Master/slave costume duo (me as Master, Lazzy as slave), but it turns out the temperature is gonna be a BIT too cold for that idea!

Ann, My best to you Mom. You'll be fondly thought of this week! AND...let's hope that pack of kids gets the chance to show off their attire to ya. There's nothing better than watching them pretend to me something "cool." Eh?

Mimi! I love that idea! I know another TMF-er who has a cute little girl's outfit. I've only ever seen her dress up in that costume and wondered if anyone else had the vavoom to carry it! I'm sure you will!! I can see you breaking the "Don't take candy from strangers" rule that all GOOD girls should follow! 😉 I'd love to see the looks on faces when they see you two walk in wearing THAT combination!

I have settled on the witch's costume and can't wait!

....spare me this spray on, synthetic, manufactured "tradition". Its becoming much too prevalent this side of the pond, "Guy Fawkes" is the proper traditional event for us Brits this time of year, and has its roots in some genuine, horrific historical events.

You just have no concept of fun for fun's sake. It's the one day of the year you could walk around covered in feathers with a crown and calling yourself the TickleKing and no one would bat a lash! You can't see the beauty in that???? 😉 You're right though...reliving the proper brutality bestowed on a historical figure is oh so much better. 🙄 Silly Brit!

I'm getting dressed up- Going as Vash the Stampede (Anime fans know of whom I speak). My mom stitched together an amazing costume that looks almost like the character's on the show.

I'll probably be hanging out and about the school, maybe get together with some friends and such. Nothing really major planned, just playing it by ear and hoping for a good time.
