Hello all,

It's been awhile since I've posted on the TMF since my site closed down. This time, it's for a friend of a friend.

My best friend in Baltimore has a toddler that attends a preschool in Towson, MD. One of the teachers at the school was at the marathon watching her Mom run, and she was severely injured in one of the blasts. They were unable to save her left leg. She's still in a Boston hospital, and she has a long road of recovery ahead of her.

Her family has set up a fund to help with her medical and living expenses, and there is a site with a Paypal address here:

Thanks, Achillies! I just sent them a little help. This was not only a "tragedy". This was a act of war on innocents, and this teacher did not deserve this.

"Today has been amazing. I got to fly in my swing and be Peter Pan and I got to talk to Ray Lewis and Torrey Smith from the Ravens!!!!! So freaking cool and made my day. Ray Lewis told me to "stay beautiful" 🙂"

I know that sort of thing happens, but this particular young woman has a direct connection to me. My best friend's sister works with her at a preschool in Towson, MD. My best friend's toddler attends the school and she is one of his teachers. While I don't know her personally, I know for a fact that she was there, lost her left leg and is struggling to recover.
