Brain Teaser I Heard

I was watching “Brooklyn Nine-Nine” last night, and can't come up with an answer to the brain teaser they had.

OK, if I remember it right-10 guys are stranded on an island, each weighing the same, except one is slightly lighter or heaver than the rest. You have to found out which one, but there is no scales on the island. Only a see-saw, but you can only use it three times.
