I went to Citi Field in the Queens section of New York City today, where I saw my favorite team, the Atlanta Braves, beat my "Hated New York Mets " by a score of 4-1.
The most fascinating thing about the game, as my good friend Milagros and other baseball fans probably heard.
The Braves had a combined no hitter for eight and two thirds innings, with seven no hit innings from Braves starter Max Fried, and one and two third innings from the Atlanta bullpen, until a home run broke up the no hitter in the bottom of the ninth.
There were a few scary moments for Braves fans in the ninth, but luckily for myself, and other Braves fans, the Braves hung on to win the game.
All in all, a very nice day
