The Atlanta Journal Constitution has just reported that the Braves have acquired infielder Derek Lee for three minor leaguers, and will be disabling Troy Glaus to make room for him.
The Braves are being very aggressive in their bid to secure a playoff spot. Good for them. They have acquired Alex Gonzalez, Kyle Farnsworth, and now Lee in a matter of weeks.
I really hope Atlanta wins the NL East, and the Phillies are out of the playoffs. There is someone in my life, who I absolutely can't stand, who has been razzing me about the Braves for years. It would be nice to see the Braves make the playoffs for the first time in five years, so I can tell this guy to shove his constant carrying on about the Braves, straight up his fat ass!
