Is anybody else on here as obsessed with Breaking Bad as I am? Regardless, for those who don't know, the series finale is this coming Sunday and I'm pissing myself with anticipation (not literally)....

If you're a Breaking Bad fan, feel free to post your theories for the finale, favorite characters/scenes/quotes, unanswered questions or anything else related to the show in this thread.

My husband and I are are big fans. They've had marathons on all day and it made it difficult to force myself to work. One of the few downsides to working from home. But yes...I am pumped for the finale

Not a Bad ending but... AMC should have not let that happen...

They must be Mad Men! :iagree:

The show was Great!

Shit shows last way too long!!! So do the Shit Executives that make them! No Names!

Dandy Jack!

I thought the ending was very fitting. While I see where some people thought Walt got better than he deserved, I like the way the show was nicely wrapped up and still left a few matters unresolved. Brilliant, writing, acting and directing.

Seems like only yesterday this well-crafted program with a very relevant plot line was premiering.

Being a non-cable household, I've only been able to catch an episode here and there, but what I've seen beats a lot of other TV programs hands down.

Agreed.

It was amazing. Sad to see it end but man, best tv series to ever air.

Also agreed.

Nice!

Believe the hype. If you ever get the chance, you have to watch the entire series. I'm not even a big TV person, but Breaking Bad is easily the best show I've ever seen. Period.

Remember when Flavor Flav said "Don't Believe The Hype?" That's bad advice for this here one. I don't ramrod everyone I know recommending it, but it's fun to talk about.

Great hook, heady, world-weary, dark comedy with a hell of a strong central character backed by others that arguably bring just as much to the table. You don't have showrunners and writers leaving left and right. It steadily progresses and the plot and characters react and evolve naturally. No huge chunk of any season feels like they came off the rails and had to recover. It is remarkably consistent and scarily entertaining for the subject matter and all the AWFUL things that occur. Tis brilliant.

One of my favorite quotes (don' read if you don't want spielerz):

Saul: If you’re committed enough, you can make any story work. I once told a woman I was Kevin Costner, and it worked because I believed it.

I admit, the only thing that I wished the series finally had, was a reconciliation between Jessie and Walt. Walt was a long cry from perfect, but I thought he spent a lot more energy looking after Jessie, and really did love him like a son.

I also admit, I disliked how much of a hypocrite Walt's wife turned into during the last couple of episodes. One episode she's suggesting Hank kill, and the next she's drawing a knife on him.

Along with The Wire, Breaking Bad is the best TV show I have ever seen. It's a perfect storm of great writing, directing, acting and character.

It's going to be hard to top this so I think I'll just have to watch it all over again. It's very hard to pick out a favourite moment so here's a few.

Mike "Solid Snake" Ehrmentraut with the balloons

And so many others...

Coming in to this late! But I also haven't been on in a few months, soooo there's that.

LOVE Breaking Bad - and I was significantly more happy with the ending than Dexter's. I felt like everything fell into place exactly as it should have. Sad, hilarious, badass, wonderful...all of the above - for both the show and the finale.
