As often happens during boring, blowout bowl games, the cameras and commentary shifted tonight from the action on the field to the stands and Alabama QB A.J. McCarron's girlfriend Katherine Webb. Okay, sure, mention she goes to Auburn and how scandalous that is—that's normal. ESPN announcer Brent Musberger, though, couldn't leave it at that.

Uh...I really don't blame him.

Yes, I want to see her bound and gagged....consensually of course.

While his comments were a bit shallow and somewhat over the top, I wasn't all that offended by them. He was just vocalizing what many men, including my husband, were probably thinking.

If it was me calling the game, I'd be like "I want to lick the soles of her feet. I wonder how ticklish they are, I bet they're as tan as the rest of her". Then they'd have to hose me off. And when I'm in my 70's that's still how I'll be talking about college-aged women.
