cable modem problems

My problem is that my cable modem is running terrible. I get alot of link deads during online games. I get alot of "connection timeouts" whenever i try to visit a web page?anyone know whats wrong and how i can fix this. Dame you cablevision!!!

I have cablevision internet too...I have always had some minor problems during very cold or stormy weather but nothing major. I'd call them and ask if they've had problems with service in your area...maybe there are some bad cables outside? Or your modem could just be fried. I've had to replace mine a couple of times now.

Give it a reboot if you haven't already. And switch to Comcast if able. 😛
