I would recommend you purchase the 'Tied and Tickled Classics' series. I think they are up to about 15 now. Basically you get about six ten minute chunks, from their featured Tickling Videos. As Cal Star's material can vary from the sublime to the awful, this way you will get something you will like.

However, if I was to recommend one of their Tickling Series, it would be 'ALIEN ABDUCTION'. All I will say, is that it features the sexiest Tickling scene, that I have ever encountered, either from Cal Star, or anyone else.

I watched a lot of Cal Star material way back when, since for a long time it was pretty much the only game in town. Now, in hindsight, I have to say that Cal Star bore out Sturgeon's Law pretty well. (Sturgeon's Law, for those not in the know: "90% of anything is crap.")

Still, there are a few good videos among them. The first half of The Happy Woodcutter is always popular, especially with foot-tickling fans. T&T 22 and 30, both with Holly Ryder, are good 'uns. T&T 14 has also been praised.

But by and large, Cal Star is an acquired taste, so it's hard to recommend anything. For instance, I like Bizarre Twist, but I know it won't appeal to the vast majority of you out there -- the foot tickling is minimal, and it's not especially intense. Credit Application, which also features the cute-as-a-button Ariele Cole, is another personal favorite.

If you're going to be paying full price for these, though, my recommendation is simple: don't bother. Buy from Magic Touch or Realtickling, where you'll have a lot more chance of liking what you get.

Okay Dirkman here is my poor review of ALIEN ABDUCTION (my words can't do it justice however)

Scene 1: Blonde model (don't know who, never saw her in anything else) is out driving, sees a bright light, abducted by spaceship.

Scene 2: Blonde model (BM) in denim shorts, grey t-shirt hands suspended from ceiling, poked and tickled by Female Alien (FA). So far Okay.

Scene 3: BM now topless, but with shorts, tied to chair, sitting normally but with hands tied behind her head, tickled by FA. Good at this point.

Scene 4: BM topless only still, now kind of hogtied, but hands tied in front of her tickled by FA. This is the best so far.

Scene 5 (part1): BM now completely naked, spreadeagled face down across a bed, as if being searched by the law, but feet on the ground, tickled with yellow feather by FA. This bit gets a little repetitive and the laughter sounds a little forced (but stay with me now).

Scene 5 (part2): BM still in same position, but enter Male Alien wearing scary mask (or is that meant to be his face) proceeds to tickle BM with fingers. Laughter goes up several decibels now.

BUT NOW WE GET TO THE PAY OFF.

Scene 6: Male Alien says that there now has to be a 'Mind Melt' between Blonde Model and Female Alien. (excuse me while a take a moment here)

Okay I am back. Both BM and FA are completely naked, and have both arms suspended from the ceiling. But not only that, there is also a very tight, but thin, rope wrapped around both their waists forcing BM and FA, against each other, Breast to Breast, Crotch to Crotch, face to face, with nowhere for either of them to go. They are also tied together at the knees. MA now ruthlessly tickles them into absolute hysteria. Most of the time he uses his fingers, but occasionally uses some Giant Feathers, which somehow, although it doesn't seem possible, he manages to get them between their two bodies.

Whilst both BM and FA are both in a state of Jiggling helpless hysterics, BM additionally seems to be in a state of both embarrassment and arousal, at her inescapable bodily proximity to FA, which seems to be tormenting her almost as much as her Ticklish predicament. Mind Melt, I know mine did !

BASICALLY THATS HOW IT ENDS. All I can say is that I have never seen a Tickling Scene as good in any video anywhere, as Scene6, as I have described.

Also Cal Star used to do two Tickling Magazines (Reluctant Captive and Bound and Breathless). Issue two of one of these magazines, has a shot from scene 6 on the cover. Again, the best Tickling picture I have ever seen.

One should not have regrets in life, but during one of my periodic PURGES (yuk) I threw both magazine and video out !!!!!!!!

This is an interesting thread. Personally, I have never bought
any of Cal-Star's videos, since they all seem to be a rather
staggering $60 apiece.
However, I would like to know about two of their more famous
vids, "Happy Woodcutter" and "Credit Application." The latter
one stars the lovely brunette Ariele Cole, who is definitely
very ticklish on her feet. And there are a number of positive
reviews for "Woodcutter"
Can anybody here tell me what happens in them and where the
ladies get tickled?

On the others mentioned, I haven't seen 'Credit Application', I have only seen a 90 second mpeg of 'The Happy Woodcutter' so it is hard to rate, and I have seen, but was unimpressed by 'Bizarre Twist'

Another Cal Star Video worth a mention is 'Tied and Tickled 15'. This is a spoof on the Texas Chainsaw Massacre, with you guessed it 'Featherface'. When the Tickling actually gets going it is very good, including a chainsaw, minus saw but with rotating feathers. However there is at least 20 minutes or so at the start, with the 3 girls doing nothing but driving around in their camper van.

Again I would stress with Cal Star, you are far better off, trying the 'Tied and Tickled CLASSICS' series, which gives you highlights of about 6 different tickling videos. 'Alien Abduction' including the big scene I mentioned, is on 'Tied and Tickled Classics No 9'. I am not sure which of the classics series, T&T 15 is on, other than it is an earlier one than 9.

There are also some other good ones, as well as some dire ones as well. But because of their habit of naming the first 20 or so in their series Tied and Tickled No ?, it is hard to put a story to a number.

Credit Application/Happy Woodcutter

Since I mentioned those videos before, I figure it falls to me to explain them. Again, though, I emphasize: these generally aren't as good as the videos being done today, and if I had had more of a choice back when I bought them, I wouldn't have paid $60 (or whatever) for them.

The first half hour of The Happy Woodcutter is the good one, featuring Jasmine Lee being tied and tickled in several positions, losing more clothes with each new position as per the usual Cal Star formula. There are some silly bits where she's "tickled" with leaves, but for the most part the tickling looks intense and she reacts well. Unfortunately, the second half is a waste of time, involving a blonde who was clearly hired more for her grotesquely oversized hooters rather than her ticklishness, but for a long time Jasmine was the best Asian ticklee on video, so the Happy Woodcutter was popular among people who like that sort of thing.

(I have several screenshots from Happy Woodcutter, done by, I believe, JugglerTX. Hopefully I can work out how to post them.)

As for Credit Application, the plot involves two women who want the same apartment and wind up letting the landlord tickle them to determine who gets it. My favorite part is one scene near the beginning where the man takes off Ariele's shoe and starts tickling her foot while they're discussing the lease -- it's cute to watch her try to carry the conversation while she keeps dissolving into giggles. And later, when the other woman shows up and he starts doing the same thing to her, Ariele promptly gives him her foot back so as not to be left out, and he tickles them both. Just a fun little scene.

The rest of the video involves each of them tied and tickled and progressively stripped, as above. There's a lot of sock/stocking foot tickling if that's your cup of tea. The tickling's not as heavy or intense as most modern videos, but the guy at least knows what he's doing and the women react well.
