After Ross and Kayley had settled their fetish issues, it was coming toward the time when Ross was due for his Botox shot.
Each night, Ross was feeling worse and worse.
Then, to boot, Ross's best friend Larry was hospitalized not once, but twice, in a period of two weeks , for heart problems.
All of these events had Ross almost "Struggling to keep his head above water" with his day to day activities.
Then, if all of that was not bad enough, Ross heard from a "realiable source" that Tim Tazzio had obtained a position where Tazzio was going to become a "legitimate threat" to Ross, RossShell, and Ross's other activities.
There was also a rumor that Tazzio had hired a "corporate tail" to follow Ross around, to see what Ross was doing in his day to day business actitives.
All of this had Ross's head spinning.
One day, Ross became so frustrated that, he "fell off the wagon", broke his promise to Kayley not to gamble, left the office early, and went to the Queens casino on his way home.,
Rsos lost a few hundred, not much for him, but, Ross felt guility having broken his promise to Kayley not to gamble.
Ross stopped off, on his way home, and got flowers for Kayley.
"How nice. Poor baby. I know how much pain you're in, and how you're waiting to get your shot, not to mention what Tazzio might do" Kayley said.
Ross sighed. "Kale, I have something to tell you, straight out. I'm just going to be honest, and whatever your reaction is, I will deal with it. You know that I have not been gambling in three years, since Covid started. Today, on my way home, I took a car to the casino, and lost a bit. I'm sorry. I promise that I wont go there again" Ross said, quietly and almost with shame.
"Ross, its okay. You've been very good about staying away. As long as it does not become a habit, I wont say anything" Kayley said.
"Good. Let's not talk about it. I promise that I will control myself" Ross said.
That night, Ross, feeling like he had the weight of the world on his shoulders, managed to satisfy Kayley, with no favors asked for, except smelling and kissing her feet. Ross did not ask Kayley to climb a ladder, he did not tickle her feet, and he did not request to be on top. Kayley got on top, and drained him dry, with Ross feeling exhausted and in pain, but Ross knew that he had to keep his mouth shut, and just "Do his job" as husband, and sex sub.
Ross's mind was racing in all directions. It was the holiday season. Ross figured that he would get his shot, deal with the pain, and then after the 1st of the year, would "have to" somehow figure out how to take a partner in, even gradually, and if he hated it. Ross knew that if he did not, he would be in big trouble, especially for "breaking a major promise to Kayley"
Before he endured that likely pain staking, and emotionally draining search, it was not likely that Ross could even consider "Running away" and making any sort of "trip to clear his head" to OKC, as Ross would not be allowed to fly for 14 to 21 days after the shot, by which time it would be after the first of the year, and Kayley would be "expecting Ross to live up to his promise of taking in a partner.. or else" Not to mention the unknown of Tazzio's new psoition, and the supposed "Corporate spy tail" for the purpose of spying on and getting information into Ross's activities.
The shot with the usual pain was coming in two days, along with the already increasing headaches.
How would Ross endure the shot, and how would he go about the promise he had made to Kayley about taking in a partner?
The wheels were beginning to spin, and it was unknown how it would all turn out.
That would be seen.
