I had grab it with fiddler and saved in .flv file extension, than renamed in .wmv file
it works in my windows media...

Always try to save the file first, because some formats stream very poorly.

All YouTube movies appear to be Macromedia Flash movies. You need a Flash Movie Player to watch... I only know this because I bought Flash a few years ago. Wasn't cheap. But I think you can find a free Flash movie player, or if you know HTML, make a web page to view them.

Well when it's done converting for me, the "Save This File" box comes up. I have to set yo AVI/DIVX. This is the best website I've found for getting videos off YouTube. None of that FLV crap 🙂

Well there are different flash formats. SWF is the more common for flash animations. If you download one, you can simply just have it open in your internet browser and it'll play fine, as long as you have the flash plugin.

Save it if you care about keeping it. If you choose to run something, IE will store it in a temporary folder, then nuke it when it's done.

Also, try VLC, the VideoLAN Client if you want one piece of software that can play nearly all major formats.
