It must have been around 1983 when I saw the most terific instance of trapped foot-tickling I ever witnessed. I was watching Candid Camera, starring Alan Funt and Fanny Farmer. The following scene remains etched in my memory even now, twenty years later. 
They did a sequence where Fanny stuck her stocking-covered leg through a hole in the hosiery counter of a department store. She was wearing dark colored (black?) sheer stockings. Her leg stuck straight up in the air beside two or three mannequin legs, all modeling various shades of stockings. Fanny had great legs, and shapely feet. (I would guess her feet were size-8, and as best I could tell, the toes were well-formed too.)
As ladies walked by the hosiery counter, some of them stroked the mannequins' legs (to check the silkiness of the hosiery). As they continued down the line of legs comparing hose, they eventually got to Fanny's leg. As soon as a lady touched her leg, Fanny would let out a giggle and wiggle her toes. Of course, this freaked the half-dozen women that fell for it. All of them jumped; some of them jumped back three feet or better, not easy for an older woman standing flat-footed!
I guess there weren't all that many women who needed to feel the hosiery before they chose a selection. Occasionally Fanny had to wiggle her toes and call out to passersby. This freaked 'em out too, some laughed and some just looked shocked and rushed away. I don't remember any of these women approaching the counter to stroke Fanny's legs.
The best part was the last person "caught" on camera. It was a middle-aged man who completely fell for the gag. He may have been trying to find some hose for his wife, (I'd like to think that's what he was doing), he was walking down the counter, stroking the stockings on each of the mannequins' legs.
When he got to Fanny's leg, she let out her standard giggle and wiggled her toes. Just like the women before him, he jumped back in surprise and looked around. Unlike the women before him, it didn't take him five seconds to move back to the counter and stroke Fanny's leg again.
Again, she giggled and wiggled her toes. Big mistake.
To my astonishment
(and Fanny's no doubt) he moved his hand up to stroke her heel.
At the first touch of her foot, Fanny's giggle changed from a light hearted "gotcha" giggle to an "oh shit!" laugh. The guy switched from lightly stroking her heel and sole to spider tickling the bottom of her foot. Now Fanny was laughing and wiggling for real! Big, loud guffaws! Her foot twitched and wiggled all over the place, but you know what? She never bent her leg or tried to pull her foot back down into the counter.
The tickling went on for thirty seconds or more - long enough that Alan Funt (laughing) had to approach the man to tell him they were on Candid Camera.
This television episode really happened, and I would LOVE to get a copy of the show, if anyone has it. Does anyone else know anything about this episode?
