Does anyone know why I cannot access the Japanese foot tickling thumbpics?
I click on the image to expand it and nothing happened.

Unable to access any TMF thumbshot

I've checked out all the other images, I cannot access any thumbshot at all. Is there a problem with the software here at the TMF?

I am currently able to access attachments in what I believe is the thread you speak of: http://www.ticklingforum.com/showthread.php?t=121192

Are you receiving a specific error message when you try to access them? If so, please type it as accurately as possible here so that we can figure out what is wrong. It is possible, albeit unlikely, that permissions for your account somehow got wacked (e.g. can post and view threads but no-no on attachments). You may wish to try clearing all temporary internet files, logging out of the TMF, and then logging back in after a system reboot. Instructions for clearing temporary internet files can be found in the following thread a few posts down: http://www.ticklingforum.com/showthread.php?t=109917

HDS, nope, there's no error message when I click on them. It's just that nothing happens, the tumbpics will simply NOT enlarge.

Hyperlinks won't work either

HDS, even when I click on your hyperlinks, again, nothing happens. I don't seem to have this problem with the other websites, only at the TMF.

Odd. Could still be a cache problem. Since you can't seem to follow links I've copied the procedure here:

If you use Firefox, do the following:
-Go to "Tools"
-Select "Options"
-Click the "Privacy" tab
-Look for "Private Data"
-Click "Clear Now"
-Make sure "Cache", "Cookies" and "Authenticated Sessions" are checked. Check nothing else unless you want to delete your history or saved passwords as well.
-Click "Clear Private Data Now"
-Close your browser and restart your computer.

If you use Internet Explorer 7, do the following:
-Go to "Tools"
-Click "Internet Options"
-On the "General" tab, look for "Browsing History"
-Click "Delete" near it
-Next to "Temporary Internet Files" click "Delete files"
-Next to "Cookies" click "Delete cookies"
-Close your browser and restart your computer

If that doesn't work I suggest downloading an alternative browser and trying it out. If you are able to do everything with that alternative browser then your current one has a setting awry. We can then either attempt to find it, reset all settings to their defaults, or you can use the new browser instead. Some suggestions are as follows:

http://www.apple.com/safari/
http://www.firefox.com
http://www.opera.com

HDS,

I followed your suggestions, I deleted the cookies, did a complete reboot.

It didn't change anything, the problem is still there. I've checked out the rest of the "Images" section and I cannot access ANY of the thumbpics, this problem is more widespread.

Have you tried using an alternative browser? That will tell us if it is a browser problem or an ISP issue. I listed links to some alternative browsers in a previous post. Opera or Firefox are your best bets though, if you like Apple, Safari may be for you (Works on Windows now).

Didn't Work

HDS,

I did your suggestions. My computer uses "Vista" and Explorer 7. However, the problem is still there, I still can't access the thumbpics. I tried using the "Google" for an alternative browser, no go.

HDS,

Thanks for the web address to Firefox. I went to the site and clicked on download, but...I can't access the hyperlink to do that. The same also for the other links so I can't download an alternative browser.

Re-Installed ISP Software

HDS,

I re-installed my ISP software and to no avail, the thumbpic problem is still there. I cannot access any of the TMF thumbpics anywhere.

I really need help on this for I am stumped.

This is very strange. I suppose a question to ask also, which I forgot earlier, is if you use any firewall, antivirus, or antispyware software? Also, do you use any sort of hardware firewall like that found in a Wireless router or in a dedicated hardware firewall? I can try emailing you the installer for Firefox but, if you can't download anything, that won't do much.

I'm Able to Access the Thumbpics Again

HDS,

Yes, it is strange. I finally phoned an HP Software tech and told her about my problem, she then told me to use the Windows Explorer version 7 "reset" button which she said would restore my browser back to original factory settings. I did what she told me to and viola', I can now access the TMF thumbpics again, everything's working the way it use to.

Apparently, my browser settings were altered enough to where I could no longer access the thumbpics anymore.

But everthing's working now thanks to the browser "reset" button.

Thanks for your help HDS, same to Jeff. Thanks again guys.
