They're already talking sequel................

Staying true...

If it follows the original thought process that the creator Of SpiderMan endorsed, it will be fine. When HollyWood attempts to improve on the themes through theoretically clever scriptwriting, everything goes south in a hurry (pardon the expression Strel/Joby/others)...:wow:

"With great power comes great responsibility"

Why try to improve on this fantastic, dramatic and evocative statement? Let it stand and write the story the way it was intended to be...a bit dark with a strong moral lesson jammed into it! Hope you're right, Ven! Q

Well, they did a pretty good job with the xmen so I am hoping that Spidey will be just as you said .....a bit dark with a strong moral lesson jammed in.......😎

Peter Parker is not going to be using web cartridges. The webbing is going to be a natural byproduct from the bite. Their (Producers) thought on it is taht no high school student, no matter how smart he is, can not make webbing out of basic corner drug store chemicals. Either waythe movie is going to kick butt.

Next year Ben Affleck is going to be in "Daredevil" as Matt Murdock aka Daredevil.

Daredevil...........

Another of my all time favs.......

daredevil

Hopefully Aflec wont mess it up...HE is NOT one of my favorite actors

i've never been a comic book buff..i just watch the cartoons..but i am sooo waiting for this movie...all the cuts i've seen from it so far have looked awesome.

Spider Man looks to be sweet, but I wish they had picked a better bad guy. The "Green Goblin" is a lame character.

You forgot to mention that the web-head is going to have little hairs or barbs coming out of his fingers to aid in wall-crawling...they showed that on the movie trailer . It used to be that Spidey could just stick to walls by thinking about it. He created some kinda molecular bond between his bod and the wall, I think. At least that's what people on other web-sites said that Reed Richards told Spidey.

Oh well, I guess they needed to show the little hairs to better explain how he can still use his wall-clinging abliities through his costume.

As for the web-shooters, it's too bad that he won't be using them. But I guess if his body only produces a limited amount of web-fluid at times , then we still might get those cool " Oh sh** I'm outta webbing!" moments.

I hope that in the future Spider-Man movies we get to see his Spider-Tracer in action.

Oh, and about Green Goblin being lame...well, don't worry, cause it's rumored that in the next one ( well, not rumored actually sense Kristin Dunst mentioned this in an interview with some magazine or something ) that the next movie will feature Dr. Octopus...and the Lizard!! Yeah !! Lizard rules!! I wonder if he's going to be the early version which was smart enough to try to take over the world...or the later Lizard that was a twice-as-crazy, deadly reptile that didn't know what the hell he was doing. lol

I think Spider-Man is gonna rock. I'm even tempted to buy the PS2 game to get kind of a "sneak preview" of the movie. lol.

Web Cartridges?? Oh, PLEASE! Just ask my 4 year old...he'll straighten you out. "Mom, that's silly string." So there! 😛

I have to say, I'm a Spider Man junkie. Shall I get the old comic books out of the closet? Sad, I even made a point to get the 30th anniversary one....and that is saying ALOT for my normal behavior. I cannot WAIT to see the movie! Even if it's really awful, I'll probably love it anyway. LOL

Joby
And Q, darlin'...I think that's a Canadian phrase, "Goin' south." hehe

Ha, his webbing isn't silly string--actually I think it's some kinda bio-degradable cement like stuff. Well, he has cement-type stuff at the end of the lines he shoots. At least that was mentioned in the origin. Either way, it must be some good stuff, since it allows him to swing not only from buildings, but to swing from the sky as well.

And why's it sad to like Spidey, huh? He's a geek, but a cool one. lol. Human Torch once said to him while Spidey was checking out the machines at the FF building, " Okay, okay, so you're not just a walking encyclopidia..you're a complete geek, too. " lol

Web fluid is silly string!? Oh, that's a crack up! Reminds me when I was a dumb kid...... The little puppets on the "Davy and Goliath" animated show - I used to think that the ones with dark hair had their heads made out of, and filled with, chocolate, and if you craked open that hard hair "shell" on the puppet's head, you could eat the chocolate out, like unwrapping a chocolate Easter bunny! WTF????

And what's the correclation herree between Davy & Goliath & The Son of Sam? Here's a guy named Davy that spoke to a dog about religion. The Son of Sam was DAVID Berkowitz, and he took orders from a dog bout religion, too...... hmmmmmm, in fact, Mad T.V. even did a little animated sketch about the similarities...... I wonder if Radar's farmer "Uncle Ed" from 1950s Iowa on M*A*S*H was actually farmer Ed Gein, cannibal serial killer caught in Iowa in the 1950s.....

And a thought about a high school student not able to create webbing.... wellsir, I remeber reading about 2 high school students who were trying to use their chemistry lab to pull a prank on a favorite teacher. Somehow, they ended up accidently inventing a new kind of edible plastic, and how drug companies were all after them for the rights to the formula to use this plastic in manufacturing pills & capsules... then there was that hairdresser a few years ago mixing up his own chemicals and accidently invented a plastic that could withstand a nuclear blast..... Spidey just needed a good accident to occur!

..........Well then.........that is quite disturbing.
