Casual Nudity

I am curious how members of TMF feel about being casually nude around others. Personally it is something I would like to do more often. In my younger days I went skinny dipping with friends on more than one occasion and had a few friends that I did not mind changing in front of.

In recent years, my husband is one of the few people to see me in the nude (save a few skinny dipping experiences lately.) For some reason, I find myself more and more intrigued by the idea of being seen naked by more people. Not sure why, but the idea has piqued my interest lately.

I was just wondering if other felt comfortable in such situations and how common of a practice it is.

Now, is this desire to be naked in front of others give you a sexual thrill, or it is more just a feeling of comfort and freedom? It's possible that you are having some desires to be/or experiment with exhibitionism. Just some food for thought.

I don't do it. Ever. And it isn't because of discomfort on my part, it's more of a courtesy toward others. I see no issues with it at nude beaches where nudity is expected, but to disrobe at say a party or small gathering? Extremely awkward at the very least. I don't see that ending well.

Well for me it would have to be a common agreement and situation. Skinny dipping or a adult fetish party for example. To just strip naked while everyone is still dressed...not my style.

I have no concerns about changing in front of people - for example, at the swimming pools it's just so much easier than awkwardly trying to get dried and changed without revealing anything.

I walk around my house naked and don't give much thought to anyone seeing me through the window. I find it's easier and comfortable and can be quite liberating sometimes.

I don't ever feel that I want to get naked just so that others can see me naked, but in the Summer I do sometimes wear as little clothing as possible, and it can make me feel sexier (even if others may think I'm completely unsexy!!), partly because I'm flaunting flesh and feel good that I'm confident enough to do that, but also because it's warmer and I love to be outdoors and be natural - I don't think I'm confident enough to go fully nude though and wouldn't want anyone feeling uncomfortable around me if I did start doing that.

I would be happy to go skinny dipping, I think the romance and excitement of that kinda situation usually runs away with you and you're less bothered about it because the nudity is just a by product of something much more exciting that you really want to do - it's a shared experience rather than a personal statement, which going naked on your own basically is, whether you intend it to be or not.

I wouldn't at this stage in life feel comfortable striding about on a nudist beach, but I do wonder if it's something I'll do later in life, because my father actually does go away once or twice a year with two friends on naturist outings/holidays. I have many things in common with it so I wouldn't be surprised if I don't develop this later in life.
I have given thought to this before and considered which of my (male) friends I might like to do this with.

I have a huge fetish for CFNM (clothed female, nude male) so it's something I think about often. I like the idea of being naked in the company of women who are still dressed because it gives you a wonderful submissive feeling. I have not gotten to experience my fetish except in fantasy though and ironically I am also extremely shy, which is why I think it is even more intense. So I do kind of like the idea of being casually naked around women who get to remain dressed. I think it also goes well with tickling because it leaves your naked flesh exposed more to tickle attacks!

It sounds like we are on the same page. I would never do it in a situation that would make others uncomfortable 🙂

On mornings I'll casually let my legs show. Otherwise I want to slim down. This combined with a minor case of psoriasis and I'm not really comfortable with people seeing me.

Around my own house it happens all the time but there's usually only my roommate here. It's not totally uncommon when I'm rooming with friends at different gatherings. There's plenty of folks that I just don't care out changing in front of.

On a theoretical level I like this idea, not because I get any kind of kink thrill out of it, but because it denotes a level of comfort and trust around the other person/people that I don't feel I have with many people irl. The "casual" aspect is important here--the less it's a 'thing' and more just kind of happening without any attention being called to it, the more comfortable I'd feel.

IRL not so much. I'm far to self conscious about my body--I'm not obese but my stomach's not rail-thin either, I have scars all over my stomach from surgeries and tbh I feel like my breasts aren't exactly a fantastic shape. But the thought of being around other people and be able to be at least topless without it being a big deal is something I've found myself more and more attracted to lately.
