i was just reading about Bill Murray in the Mainstream section, and i wondered if maybe there are well known celebrities lurking amongst us, maybe even members? it's like the impossible dream, but it is in the realm of possibility. too bad we may never find out, because if they reveal themselves, hordes of people will probably bother them. but then again, how cool would that be if they did reveal themselves? anybody else wonder about the possiblity that a mainstream celebrity could be amongst us?

My guess is that there are celebrities here. Why not - we're here!
The wide diversity of members on this forum is proof that an interest in tickling crosses all kinds of boundaries (cultural, social class, etc.).
If I were famous there is NO WAY I'd let my identity be known on this forum. Whoever it was would be featured as the poster-boy (girl) for perversion from here to East Jebip!
The most anoying part of that would be that the asshole press that portrayed our fellow member as a pervert wouldn't even believe it themselves... they'd just want to sell print.

As SS stated, with us being such a large group and a pretty fair cross-section of society, I'd think it's a fair bet that we have a few fellow tickle lovers who happen to be celebs. (After all, what better way to unwind after a day of shooting?) If there are any here, I don't blame them a bit for keeping thier identities unknown. It would be an open invitation for harrassment. Though I'd love to know who if any are here, I'll gladly give up knowing to protect them from that kind of garbage.

you're right Ann, i would rather not know than to have them exposed to the kind of harassment they would get. but it would be real cool if we knew someone famous was lurking amongst us.
here's another thought. what if they did join under a screen name and have been interacting on this board a lot. what if some of the screen names we see are really mainstream celebrities. just like Men In Black where certain stars were really aliens, some of our posters could be famous people. you just never know.....

If there were any celebrities here, especially good looking female ones, my advice to them would be to talk to no one but Jamandi and to have many many tickle sessions with said person. Also I would advise them to keep it quiet because Jamandi loves his family and wouldn't want you to be responsible for hurting people.

...of inviting Nicole Kidman to one of our events, be it a NEST, West Coast Gathering, or whatever, seeing as she makes no bones about her passion for tickling. But yeah, what are the odds that a celebrity would 'out' themselves, much less come down to play with us mere mortals? Zip. Nada. Fanciful to imagine, but hardly realistic. And not that they wouldn't be safe at an event, either, as well-monitored as we keep them. I can't see it not being awkward for them, though. But as far as any of us in the community being famous? Why not? Simple enough to remain annonymous in here.
