Chair tied/no shoes or socks

She was behind on her rent which was a bad thing in this part of the city. Rather than paying the two months back rent that she owed she decided to empty the apartment and skip town. Someone in the building tipped off the landlord. She got a big surprise when she came back for her last few items. The landlord was there with a few of his hired goons.

They tied her to a chair with more rope than they needed to use. She was gagged and blindfolded. Before they left her alone in the empty apartment they stripped off her shoes and socks, shut off the heat, and opened one of the windows. It was 50 degrees already and the sun was just starting to go down.

The ropes were very tight and the chair was solid wood. She wasn't sure how long she had been there but she was already very uncomfortable. Her feet were freezing.

She tried to rub her feet together to warm them up....rub them across the carpet even. Anything to get warm blood flowing in her now frozen feet and toes. She couldn't move. Her ankles were pulled back under the chair and tied in place. Even her big toes and been tied together.

Spending the night tied to the chair in the dark, cold room was torture. She could hear other tenants in the building walking through the halls, talking to one another. She tried to cry out for help but the wad of cloth stuffed in her mouth kept her quiet.

The following afternoon two of the landlords men returned. They closed the window and cranked up the heat. After a few hours she began to sweat. The men said nothing. It was obvious that she was being tortured for trying to leave town. Her stomach growled, she was starving.

One of the men must have heard her stomach and told her it was time to cook her lunch (the first words anyone had spoken to her since she had been taken captive.)

"Put your feet on this and don't move them....if you do you don't eat till tomorrow"

The ice cold pizza box was so cold on her hot, sweaty feet that it burned her soles with cold. They used her feet to warm her lunch, then fed it to her giving her only 5 minutes to eat and drink 2 small sips of water before the wad of cloth was shoved back in her mouth.

Later that night she was removed from the chair, still gagged and blindfolded. They lead her to the empty bedroom and placed her face down on the floor. As one of the men tied her hands behind her back the other bound her feet.

"Dude, her feet are all sweaty and they're starting to stink".

"Dont worry about it," answered the man at her arms. "She's going swimming tomorrow in the east river." The two men laughed. Were they for real or just trying to scare her?
