Character: Safira (mostly older stuff)

I dunno, I was in a mood for Safira, my original harem/belly-dancer character the past few days. Most of this stuff was posted at one time or another at TMF, but I've been trying to equalize my postings here and there lately (I hope)...so, while it's not really new material, it probably wasn't posted 'new' around here before.

Safi's one of my faves, obviously...however, as usual, I find it hard to post my own chars lately. I really ought to do a...project...with one of them sometime. *sigh*

Images are mostly (older) Poser 4 pics and a few sketches.

#1 - Safira's rather talented belly being feather tickled by, uh...some talentless purple-haired idiotic artist.

#2 - Safi sitting in stocks...actually rather enjoying the 'attention' being given her feet by half-vamp Adara. At least, her expressions seems to show that...

#3 - After tying the beach gal/summoner/shop owner up on an altar somewhere, Safira feverishly tickles Marina's bare soles.

#4 - Turning the tables on the stupid artist whose name starts with K, Safira and Myrine (an original of mine who barely got on the drawing board...so her background/theme can stay blank for now) get to both finger and (hair)brush K-something's stock-stuck feets.

#5 - NON-TICKLE; A teaser with an interesting (from beneath) perspective of Safira giving her talented feet a bit of a rest as she kneels on a chair, also giving you a smirk...and a look at her bottom(s).

#1-2: Here's why Safira never does a 'snake dance'...ticklish tongues and tails on her exposed skin. Drawn.

#3-4: The harem dancer has tied up and is taking advantage of another dancer (the character Ellia from 'Eternal Darkness' on the Gamecube). Not only is she tickling the poor Cambodian dancer's feet with her fingers (jealous maybe?), but, well, sometimes some wiggling toes on a belly can be VERY painful. 😉 Drawn.

#5: NON-TICKLE; Another teaser of Safira resting her weary form after a tough day of work...which for Safi can be dancing, stealing or...who knows? 😉 I think her sly grin...and the view...says it all. ^^

These last three are all non-tickle...but pics of Safira I feel are worth showing...perhaps they show bits of her personality or such...

...considering I have been...writing something that I'd might illustrate...

#1: Safira in THE POSE atop a (flying?) carpet somewhere. Kinda looks bored though...

#2: A moody Poser image of Safira on a moonlit evening somewhere in the deserts or mountains. For some reason this wind-swept image just...works for me. Not to mention I usually feel the same as my character...

#3-4: DRAWN - Probably the only drawing I've ever done that I LIKED. It's just Safira posing with a slightly more complex outfit (and a few weapons...other than her body 😉 ). But...eh, I loved drawing it, and again it's about the only thing I ever drew that I was proud of. Obviously there was quite a long period between this one and the previous draws in this thread...then again, this was for a contest (which, oddly, Safira tied for first in).

A treasure trove! Some of these I've seen... many I haven't. Safira's my favorite of your OCs after Marina; the filmy veil, puffy harem pants and blue icy motif... all quite fantasy inducing! I can understand why you're so pleased with the final picture... it's simple and clean, the figure artfully posed in a delicate attitude that seems at once casual and formidable! Nicely detailed, but not overly busy; the image has nice focus! An effective transparency effect, too... not easy to accomplish! Plus, I like the way she's making eye contact! At least, I think I like it... maybe she's taking aim...

A lovely character indeed and yet, I remember playing with that outfit before and man the horrors I had at times with it. Still I like what've done with this and the creation of Safira really has some appeal.

These are all new to me! Great work! Nice CGI as well as handdrawn work, the 5th pic in the first post is my favourite. That harem outfit looks indeed fantastic. It must have been really difficult to get that right in 3D. Thank you for sharing these pictures with us, Khali! 🙂

Thanks very much for all the comments. ^^ I never really thought of Safira as 'icy'...but actually I suppose it DOES fit her personality. In a 'look but don't touch' sense, at least. 😉 One thing I've always enjoyed in her design is the contrast of somewhat tanned skin versus the almost-glowing blue hues of her outfit (and features). And, of course, enough of said skin visible to tease without being...blatant (maybe)? The drawing, again, I just flat out love...and yes, it's hard to tell if she's just posing or has something else in mind. 😉

Much thanx. Yeah, the elements of the outfit are pretty tricky to work with (extreme bends are baaaaaad) but it just looks so good on her that I had to learn how to fiddle with it. ^^

Thanks very much too, Scav. 🙂 Yeah, the harem costume was quite a chore to get right at first, but I got the hang of it eventually and I think (hope) it's come out well enough. Still, I really ought to draw her a bit more though...
Heh, as for your favorite image (#5 in post 1), although I might be able to guess...what makes it your fave? 😉 Just curious. ^^

Thanks as well, Kimiko. However, eh, Safira should be the focal point, even in pics with 'me'...I really don't use my own character model a lot lately (mainly cause, well, my OCs are/should be more interesting than her). Although, yes...I could use a RL tickling sometime...*sigh*
