Hello all. this is a message directed for those who go in to the chat room. If you've been to the chat room, you know there's usaully one of two things going on. One, is just chat, conversations about tickling or other things, or two, cyber tickling. Now, the subject i'm going to address is cybertickling. Some people who go on the chat don't enjoy it, and that's fine. Many of the other people do. Some prefer to keep it in PC, but i'd say most are willing to do it in the main room also. This is fine, but there leaves one problem that seem's to happen more then most would like.
Unfortionatly, tickling is a love/hate fetish. In other words, most people say "Stop" and "No" while being tickled. This makes it dificult for the tickler to know when to stop. I know there have been a few times when the ticklee got rather upset because the tickler wouldn't stop. I myself have done this a few times.
So, what is suggest is relatively simple. Basically, we make a Safe word. i was Thinking "RED" was a good word. if the ticklee says that, then the tickler knows to stop.

Good point

I definatley have to agree with you there Cos, this is definatley an issue that needs to be discussed to prevent any future confussion during cyber tickling, its important for the ler to clearly understand when the lee wants them to stop.

I also have been through this aswell so I can relate to where your coming from, This "RED" rule should be shown on the chatroom enter page so that all who enter will be informed.

Cosmo, I think that this a great idea. It's hard not only on the people involved, but for us Chat Mods as well. You really don't know when to step in, if someone is really being bothered by another user or not. The use of a "Cyber Safe-Word" would be a wise choice.

You can tell that we've reached a new level of social interaction in our society when we come up with etiquette rules for cybering, eh?😀

Again not Being PC

I can vouch for the fact that women often use cyberplay to determine who they will play with in real life. Cyberplay lets women reveal themselves in relative safety to people they would have never met otherwise, much less discussed their most shielded desires.

BTW, a safety word is a good idea.

Very good point, EvilQueen.

Just as a side note on Chat Room etiquette...

...I once went into the chatroom under a female name as an experiment. I wanted to see if the rumours of "pouncing" were as real as they've been made out to be. The truth is, they are at times. I got fifteen PC's within two minutes of being in the room. At least half wouldn't stop even after I asked them to. Most asked the same abhorrent questions ("A/S/L?" or "Where are you ticklish?") or simply started off a "conversation" with something like "Lay down and let me tie you up." (BTW, I didn't play along, I just wanted to see for myself.)

This isn't everyone's behavior, I know. I would just like to take a moment to ask that we all treat the ladies with respect. You wouldn't walk up to someone in a bar or a club and ask them some of these things, so please don't do it in the chatroom. This isn't really a rule, just a suggestion. I'm sure the ladies would appreciate it. 😀

Thanks for your time--Dave2112😎

good idea!

As someone who uses the chatroom frequently (I usually use the name "giuseppe"), I can definitely see the need for such a rule to be enacted. Not everyone wants to cyber all the time. Those who know me know that I'm not much into cyber-tickling, but I'm not just saying this because I don't always participate. I realize that plenty of people are into it and there is nothing wrong with that. Some people only occasionally participate. In any case, the incessant nagging of someone who doesn't want to cyber for whatever reason is annoying to both the person being nagged and to many others using the chatroom. People using the chatroom, especially female members, need a definite method of indicating that they are not currently interested.

May I ask why you deleted my post?

You know why, we've been corresponding by email all day, what kind of question is that? Do not reply to this here, contact me directly. This is not the place for that talk.

About Chatnames

I went into a chatroom once under the name Looking. Within 5 minutes I had over 30 posts from guys wanting cybersex and asking the most PERVERTED crap I've ever seen. Mind you I picked Looking because I figured it was relatively asexual. When I mentioned the guys were freaks, I got ALL kinds of retorts from the same guys that if I didn't want bothered I SHOULDN'T have picked a female name. Talk about convoluted logic. I feel sorry for females who try to have a nice chat.

One of the BEST Internet moments I ever experienced was the night I was in a chatroom, and two guys came in both pretending they were Bi Females looking for cyber. They ended up cybering each other, then they found out the "Bi F" they cybered with was really a guy. They ended up in a flame war, calling each other various names which all mean homosexual, AND bitching about the sleaziness of a guy who would come in as a female looking for cyber. Great fun was had by all.

Jeff hey I'm sorry. I'm just voicing an opinion. It's cool.

And If..

And if you wanna see something that'll turn your stomach. Log into a chatroom (not this one) as 14YearOldGirl. It's sick and very disheartening what you'll see.
