Chat room private message text not showing

I'm trying to have a private message chat with someone in the chat room. When they send a private message, I get the red number 1 notification next to the private message icon. I click that icon and I go to the list of private messages screen. I can see the user's name and the first few words of the private message in the list of all private messages, which is normal. Then I click on that private message to open it. However, all I can see is my own text to that user, not their text to me. I've tried logging out/in but the problem persists.

What Jeff said – clearing the cache files on the browser will fix the issue for you 🙂
