Chat seems to be back

Hi, it's about 11am Eastern on Monday, October 6th. I know a lot of us were in the chat last night when it crashed, forcing us to move to Yahoo. I wanted to let everyone know that I just tried getting into the chat, and was successful, so apparently they have at least temporarily fixed the problem that caused it to crash last night during trivia. I hope for the tech staff's sake that it stays up this time. Anyhow, I have to get to work now, but I hope to see everyone tonight in the regular chat.

Just an update. We will have our room moved to a more stable server by the chat folks in the next week. None of you should see any issues due to this, but it should take care of all this crashing.

That's good Myriads. Iam sure the tech staff is looking forward to not having any more crashing issues with the chat. You mentioned it will be a more stable server, and that no chatter should see any issues when it moves. I hope so, because my computer can be very fickle. Remember how it wouldnt let me in here until I addressed the digichat issue, and also when I kept having to download new java. Hopefully it will be a smooth transition for me and everyone else. If I do have any problem getting in, I will of course post and let a tech staff member know, but, as you said, Iam hoping there arent any issues on this change for anyone. Thanks again to you and the mods and tech staff for all your hard work. You guys really devote a lot of time to keeping this place running for us, and I greatly appreciate all of the mods and tech staff efforts.
