Chat user info

ive wondered about this on and off for 6 years, thought it was about time i just asked,

bar becoming blessed with chat modage are there any ways or tricks to save user info when leaving the chatroom, at the moment i tend to just leave a tab open in my browser so i dont lose the info, then i come home click connect again and im back, yay for me,

its become fairly obvious that theres no way and this doesnt actually bother me at all, its just something ive wondered about for a long time, it just seems unlikely that its impossible to do?

Only way to save chat info is by closing the chatroom, but staying on the chatroom webpage. When you go back to press "Connect" again, all your info is still there.

Other than that, only mods can save their chat info.

yeah thats what i do at the moment, its just if all you have to do to lose that info is refresh the page then surely whatever info gets lost can be somehow saved and not lost.. perhaps theres not, any idea where the info is actually stored?
