Pawzy, this is Mitch. When you said the chat is up and running, were you talking about this old TMF chat on this site, or the new one Myriads mentioned at Yahoo? If you mean the old one, it is down for me, and I cannot get in, it is acting the same as it did when it crashed. Myriads said there is a new chat at Yahoo in the TMF group, and while I have been over there several times, I cannot get in because it says I need to download Microsoft VM, which I cannot access. If the old chat will be up in the next day or two, I will wait, but according to Myriads last night, he told me that he doesnt know when or even if the old chat will ever be running, he described it to me as "Good and Broken" in his words. If you know anything about whether the old chat will be up and running soon, then I would appreciate if you could post or email me at MRC 012370 at AOL ASAP. If in fact it is down for good, then if anyone who knows how I can download this Microsoft VM to get into the new TMF on Yahoo, I would greatly appreciate any assistance they could provide. Thanks.

The old one is being worked on, I'm sure they will post a new thread when it is stable. Rest assured, Tech-god Marauder will get the job done.

Marauder, if you can get this old chat up and running, this TMF chatter who has been here since last August, when we had the other old room, will be eternally grateful. I miss you guys. There seem to be conflicting reports. Myriads says he believes it may be gone for good, while others say you can and will fix it. I wish you all the best. I did get direction to the new TMF set up on Yahoo, but it wont load, saying I need a new chat applet. It directed me to get a download of Microsoft Virtual Manager to get in, but I couldnt locate it. Pawzy is trying to help me solve the problem. In the meantime, good luck again with fixing this chat. I do hope something can be solved soon.

1) Read the date that the first post in the thread has to know that this is not current news. We will make an announce ment in the what's new box and other forums with the date in the heading to inform you of any status changes.

2) I never said the chat is not returning, I said I had no idea when it will. 'Good and Broken' was the phrase I believed I used.

3) Go to sun.com and check out their Java options. They created it, and will have one that works I wager.

I hope that it will return soon Myriads. I'm sorry I misunderstood what you said. I will pay a visit to the site you told me, and try to find a java that works. I believe Tk Duo Ann is having the same problem Iam. She posted on another thread that she cant get into the chat either. She claims that the java needed for the new chat has been discontinued by Microsoft, and that she is trying to locate a working java for both herself and me, and will keep me posted. In the meantime, I will search myself as you said, and if I cannot locate one, I will have to wait and hope that this chat is fixed ASAP. You mentioned that you didnt say it is not returning, but is good and broken. Hopefully, if I cannot find another option, this chat can return soon so I can rejoin you guys. If not Iam out until it does, or out permanently if it for any reason cannot be fixed. Good luck to the tech staff, and I'll look up what you said. I hope to rejoin you guys ASAP.
