Alright, we just got a new computer and I'm trying to get into the chat to say hi and it it saying "DigiChat requires a Java Compatible web browser to run." We have Internet Explorer 7 and running Windows Vista Basic as an operating system if that helps. Can anyone tell me what I can do to fix that? Thanks.

You need Java, not just the browser. Head over to http://www.java.com and download the latest version. Give your computer a reboot once done and all should be well.

There have been problems with the java program and the chat room before. I've had to download an earlier version to rectify them, and I wasn't alone. Have these problems now been solved?

As far as I know they have, for now. I have been able to access the chatroom with the most recent version (As of a week or three ago); that, however, may change if a newer version has been released or the Chatroom software has been altered. If you are able to get in with what you have don't change it.
