They discuss the documentary Tickled, and in the process they talk a lot about tickling. Neither of them like it but they're both ticklish.
Tig Notaro says that she's been hiding being ticklish from her wife since the relationship began. Cheryl says tickling isn't funny, but Tig makes her admit that if she saw Tig being tickled, she'd think it was funny - which I interpreted more generally as admitting that it's only not funny when it's Cheryl herself being tickled and it's hilarious when it's anyone else.
Cheryl talks about playing "Ha" when she was a kid, where all the girls put their heads on each other's stomachs and everyone says ha, which makes their heads bounce on each other's bellies. Tig proposes the idea that they should be on massage tables facing each other while they're both being tickled. She suggests they do it, and record it for the podcast but it doesn't seem like they followed up on that unfortunately 🙂
Also, they seem to spontaneously come up with the term "ticklee" as the opposite of tickler.
