I think would be seen as a quick fix...which don't always work out...
It's a win for Reid, who will have the first pick overall, decent players and a rabid fan base starving for a winner. He's won 10 playoff games and made a Super Bowl appearance which they lost to NE. It's better than NO playoff wins under 5 (FIVE) head coaches.
But the real problem is GM Pioli, who is still on board for now.

But the real problem is GM Pioli, who is still on board for now.
As the two sides continue to negotiate details of organizational structure, salary and coaching budgets, league sources said the nine hours of meetings Wednesday were necessary for Reid to meet with various key members of the organization including general manager Scott Pioli and Ted Crews, the vice president of communications for the AFC West franchise.
The Chiefs' contingent of officials also included owner Clark Hunt, executive Ryan Petkoff and president Mark Donovan, who used to work in Philadelphia with Reid.
While Reid has a warm relationship with Pioli, sources said it is highly unlikely that the former Eagles coach will build his front office with the Chiefs GM on board if the deal gets done with Hunt. The same sources insist Reid did not demand that former Browns GM Tom Heckert had to be a package deal as the team's future general manager because he still wants to gauge whether John Dorsey, the Packers director of operations, would consider the position of GM, the sources added.
