First. I want to say Happy New Year to any Chinese members of the forum who are celebrating it.
I also have a question..
Do any forum members have restaurants in your area that make a big issue of celebrating
Chinese New Year, with feasts, etc.
Tonight, when I spoke to my dad, he said "Do you want to have dinner at Shun Lee Palace on Thursday night for Chinese New Year? My head has probably been too isolated with work lately.. but I said "Yeah, okay". I didn't see the big difference between that and any other night.
To be honest.. I don't remember having a meal at a place that made a big deal over Chinese New Year. Last year for whatever reason we didn t do anything for it, and in Lancaster , none of the Chinese buffet owners even really mentioned it.
I guess my question is.. Do the Chinese Restaurants in your area make a big issue over Chinese New Year, with feasts, etc, and if so what do they do?
