After a post in another thread, congrats again Karen, I had an idea for creating this thread:

I want to hear any and all stories or encounters anyone has had that could be qualified as a Christmas miracle. I'm looking more for real, "feel good" stories, but if your miracle is humourously mundane, that's okay too. With Christmas fast approaching, what better way to "get into the spirit". 😀 😉

Well, this happened a few years ago... but

Anyone here know who Josh Groban is? Well, my high school choir was asked to do a song with him on stage as his backup for the song "You Lift Me Up". We practiced it, got it down right, and replied--- and were too late. A rival school got it.

I went to the concert anyway and, after the show, want up to the stage to see what all there was... he saw my shirt (Which said the name of my school and choir) and asked me if I liked his music- obviously I said yes... and a wonderful thing happened.

He cued the band and started singing... and I started singing with him- not the backup, but the melody... I almost stopped thinking he'd be angry... but he smiled.

We went thru both versus and the refrain... and when we'd finished he just sorta grinned at me and said to keep it up. He shook my hand and then went back stage.

I have honestly never had something quite as awsome as that happen yet... music is a huge part of my life, and to have someone who is, literally, one of my idols, give me the chance to sing with him, and then say that I did well..

*grins* Well, it was quite a happy day for me

Mine is a bit mundane but it's the best I have.

Two years ago my husband's mother lost her, well, I cant say husband cause they werent married but they lived together as if they were. He died in his sleep maybe a week or so before Christmas.
For the first 3 and a half years of her life my daughter haaaated her grandmother. Wouldnt let her hold her, hug her, talk to her, look at her, nothing. Nobody knew why.
Then when the family got together for Christmas my daugher inexplicably became attached to her grandmother. They played, hugged, laughed, etc. She didn't know of the man's death and I doubt she even noticed he was gone since we didnt see him very often. But for some reason she chose that time to take down the anti-grandmother wall. The timing was perfect and theyve been best friends since. ^^

ness: the hollywood brother do not believe real strong in miracles anyomroe but you did have a real miracle. The hollywood brother guess if you answered the loving spponful question "do you believe in magic" than anything is truly possible

That is super Kittamaru

Well, here's my heartwarming tale. Names changed and all that.

It begins December 18th, 2004, coming to the end of a year wherein I felt flatout miserable. I was in the common courtyard of a group of houses that collectively formed the smallest dorm on campus. I was in the snow, a blizzard having canceled class, making a large snow serpent named Gerald. (Yearly tradition whenever it snows.) I took off my gloves in order to carve small details into the face when I felt something sharp. It felt cold, but it didn't feel like ice. So, even though I had to remake part of the head, I put my hand in and pulled out the offending...

Ring. Diamond ring. Engraved with names and everything; someone really went to all lengths for this ring. At that point, I was feeling rather guilty; I needed the money, but I couldn't just sell something like this. At the same time, I felt guilty for even having the ring. Nonetheless, I pocketed it, as I felt it was better than leaving it outside. I stowed it into the inside pocket of a jacket I wore fairly often.

Fast forward to December 22nd. I'm having a nice dinner with my family at an upscale restaurant, one of those moments when people decide they're going all out. The dinner wasn't really important, but as I was leaving, I heard a woman bawling her eyes out to her boyfriend. I turned around and heard a bit of the conversation. She was apologizing profusely to Steve for losing her engagement ring. He kept telling Karen that it was alright, please stop crying.

I went pale. I reached into that pocket and pulled out the ring. Sure enough, the names engraved on it were Karen and Steve. My family was rather curious as to what I was up to when I walked towards them.

I placed the ring on the table. There was a silence of about five seconds as the couple realized what had happened and simply stared at me.

"Merry Christmas."

Now that....That tops them.....well, no, Nessonite's was just as good...yeah...I liked that one Canandian Ninja. I am going to make a short story off of it.

The fact that I am still with you at this time is probably the best Christmas Miracle I've had. 😀
