anyone got any Christmas Traditions they like to share with everyone for the holidays?

Almost every Christmas, I go to a movie and eat a large tub of popcorn for lunch. 😀

I work until noon on Christmas Eve. Then I go out to a late lunch with my mother. Then we eat some snacks and such as we watch Christmas movies and wrap gifts or listen to Christmas music. On Christmas Day, we have brunch at my place, then dinner at my sister's.

Either I hang out with friends, or, if that isn't possible, I go have Chinese food and watch a movie!

When I was still at home, my folks and I would put up the tree and stockings when I started winter break. The T.V. would be off, and we'd play Twisted Comedy Christmas or Dr. Demento Christmas albums while wrestling with the older-than-Methuselah tree.

Nowadays, my tradition is watching Die Hard 1, drinking, and avoiding going out and about at all costs until the next day.

We would always have The Christmas Story playing in the background while we exchanged presents among my family. It's a wonder I never grew tired of that movie.

I have no Xmas traditions as such. This year, I went to a party at a friends home, ate lots of great food that totally wrecked my diet, hung out and played card games. It was a nice time!

My dad does a mean fry up, bacon, liver sausage, black pudding, basically heart attack on a plate!

My ex gf used to do potato cakes and beans on a breakfast plate, I do miss her breakfast 🙂

great to see the phrase Bushel used! I've only ever heard this term used in Guys & Dolls!

It is tradition that I play the piano (not organ sadly) in our local church on Christmas morning as the regular organist goes away. For some reason it always terrifies me even though it's a relatively small, understanding and somewhat non-musical audience. I always enjoy it in the end though.

We also have a lovely walk with our neighbours.

Weather depending on New Years Day if it isn't raining I go for a drive in my car with the roof down - blows off the cobwebs!
