Oh....how classic are we talking? I like all Home Alone movies, The Christmas Story, Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory, Wizard of Oz(watched those two since I was a weeeeeeeeee little one.lol!). I like Babes In ToyLand (the one with Laurel & Hardy). Then there are some of the Duke's movies like McClintock. And last but not the last....Oklahoma! That should put my age in place, but it doesn't. I am younger than that. LOL!:wow:

My favorite movie of all time is from before my time.

"Casablanca" with Humphrey Bogart and Ingrid Bergman, made in 1942.

Other than the Star Wars Saga, I tend to gravitate toward the quirky, independant-type films. I'm a huge fan of Kevin Smith's work. Some of my favorite "mind-fuck" films have been Fargo, Trainspotting, Storytelling, Session 9, Series 7, Dog Soldiers, Last Man and pretty much anything that makes you think without requiring a $75 Million budget.

Classic stuff I like includes Eraserhead, any of the Monty Python films, Up in Smoke, Spinal Tap and the great Kurasowa films.

Tough Question and the choices are just as tough.

Some Like it Hot.
Bram Stokers Dracula
Arsenic and Old Lace
Midnight Run
Young Frankenstein
Blazing Saddles
High Plains Drifter
Dirty Harry
The Thing(John Carpenters')

Just to name a few and not in order but what constitutes a "Classic" to some may not to others'.

The list goes on.

Classic movies...

Many movies that were made in the 80's and 90's can be considered 'new' classics. Some examples which are my faves are Beverly Hills Cop, War Games, The Breakfast Club, Good Morning, Vietnam, and many others. Personally, I like them as well as the 'true' classics of the Golden Age (40's and 50's) of film-making. Sometimes I watch AMC and TCM to see those. There are great movies from every decade, and I love 'em all! 😀
