Everybody has their favorites. Marilyn Monroe. Bridget Bardot. Some people like this Jennifer Aniston, I don't know......
It's my opinion that Claudia Cardinale is the most beautiful woman I've ever seen on a screen....or in life!
Since the first moment I saw her walk onscreen in "8 1/2", I couldn't believe someone could be so pretty. I have never gotten used to it. On top of that, she is a fantastic, versatile and very underrated actress, appearing in some of what are considered the greatest films ever made including 8 1/2, The Leopard, Once Upon A Time In The West, Fitzcaraldo......
Sitting next to me I have THIRTY Claudia Cardinale films. Thirty. I had to find out if she got tickled in a movie. I had to! It's a tough job....but someone had to do it, TMF!!! Luckily, as I said, her movies tend to be good, great...or so bad they're funny.....so watching them has been no chore. But every film, I swear, I start shouting at the screen, OUT LOUD..."come on, tickle her.....tickle her.....TICKLE HER!!!!!!" Like I'm watching a football game. It never happened.....so close, so many times.....but as breathtaking as she is frame after frame, no tickling.
On the 8th film.......I struck gold. As with most mainstream scenes, I didn't see it coming.
From the obscure Italian film Senilita, Claudia and her uptight boyfriend go out to dinner with his boorish, "ladies' man" friend who happens to be seated right next to her. He's totally teasing her and his friend, insulting them, when all of a sudden he starts tickling her. THis goes on for a bit while the boyfriend looks like hes going to faint......he stops tickling her....then he starts again!!!!!

Now before I even had a chance to recover......two scenes later, she comes into a late-night cafe, carousing with a man and another girl, laughing and carryig on. They sit in a booth and the man gets fresh, getting her into the corner, trying to get a kiss and getting her squealing and giggling.....tickling can be inferred, though not definitively. Still...worth posting.

Of course no mainstream scene goes the way you want it. In this film, she does not have her famous tussled long brown hair......in this film, she's wearing a bob!!!! Now does she look freaking super amazing with a bob? What do you think? But.....after panting away for this heartbreaker film after film......I guess I'd ideally want to see the "classic Cardinale" tickled. And I just might get my wish! I still have lots more movies to go through! But she most definitely looks stunning in a bob.

In "Fitzcaraldo", Klaus Kinski pulls her down into his hammock and it certainly sounds like ticklish laughter to me when the camera cuts away. Here's both the German version, and the English version (two different sets of laughter)

She's giggly in so many of these movies, and almost always barefoot, foot-people, Wikifeet doesn't even scratch the surface on this one......I so hope I find another scene....or two! But until I do....or if I don't.....at least we have one definite clip of the great beauty being tickled, at last......and a couple of more that I will leave it to you to decide.
