Dunno if y'all get this comic-strip in your local newspapers or not(or if this is even necessarily the correct choice of boards to post this tickle-related sighting at):
Anyway, there's a one-panel comic that we get in our Sunday paper called Close To Home, it's sorta like the replacement for the late, lamented The Far Side for kooky, over-the-top sight-gags, but it's rarely up to the hilarity-level of the later.
Anyway, they have a line of greeting cards using old Close To Home strips on the rack at the Post Office where I maintain my POBox. One of `em has a guy with his wrists tied above his head on a machine called the "Tickle Master" with artificial hands digging into his sides. There's other people in the gym room w/ him, and one of `em is explaining to another in the caption that, "It was designed based on research showing the average person burns 500 calories per hour while laughing".
Naturally, I bought the last couple they had left on the rack!
