ColorNotes app

Hi All! I have sort of a technical question about the ColorNotes app. If anyone else uses it, your help would be appreciated.

I have had ColorNotes for almost as long as I've had my Kindle, but just recently started really exploring it.

I was wondering. What does the "Archive" option intel? I went to the ColorNotes site, but they just give a short description of it, not going into a detailed description of what it does or what the benefits are to using " Archive".

Just to let you all know, I did some testing on this after posting this. I can't tell that archiving on ColorNotes actually does anything of value.

I mean on the site they mention about the archived stuff can't be Accidentally deleted, but on my test file, it still deleted as easy as a non-archived note would. So, I'm totally lost on it.
